On Coral Bay’s waterfront in St. John, we enjoyed a casual, laid-back, FIVE STAR meal at Surf Club Cantina. The menu included a starter of amazing homemade chips and the best ever traditional guacamole dip. For the main course, we split the Great Tahuna sandwich, made with a very generous portion of ahi tuna steak, including Jamaican jerk seasoning with slaw and spicy aioli, all on a brioche bun. Of course, a side of crispy fries. As if we didn’t have enough to eat, we couldn’t walk away without splitting a key-lime pie. No regrets! One of the best! FIVE STARS for Surf Club Cantina.

We didn’t know which business was which. But am very glad we found Surf Club Cantina! Their burrito bowl was amazing. I don’t know what magic they sprinkled on those tater tots but I have been dreaming about it. Thanks to you guys our Coral Bay trip was awesome. Julia our bartender was an exuberant bubble of joy to be around.

Great vibe with excellent views of the Coral Bay. Charlie was excellent. The Chef came out to discuss our Veggie Burger. One of the best we have eaten. My wife and I are on our sixties and we have travelled a bit. A must visit.

We went here while waiting for our shuttle to Lime Out. Get the conch fritters and a painkiller! Great service. Fun shops to browse next door (don’t miss Zemi for beautiful jewelry at great prices). Highly reccomended!

Love this place. We stayed nearby for a week (2/22/26 through 2/27/26) an this was our “go to.” We can’t wait to get back.
The owners were awesome. Just so welcoming. The bartenders were great (especially Persha (Sp?)) They close at 8:00 PM, but usually stayed open a little late if we were there. It’s a little out of the way, but if you’re in Coral Bay, it’s worth stopping by. The tacos and the ahi tuna sandwich are awesome. There’s usually live music and you can’t beat the view.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. We stayed on St John for a week and this was the one place we kept going back to multiple times. Club wrap and fish tacos were fantastic.

We recently visited Surf Club Cantina for the first time and strongly recommend it to all. We each ordered the Caribbean Shrimp Tacos with Jamaican Jerk seasoning and it was top tier. As for atmosphere, it doesn’t get much better than an afternoon on Coral Bay. Service was excellent. Uriah was genuinely personable and helpful and even offered advice regarding whether we should take the Centerline Highway or North Shore highway back to Cruz Bay. In addition the owner visited our table and engaged with us. I believe I have a good radar for detecting “fake” and each person we dealt with at Surf Club Cantina was the real thing. We will return.

Hundred percent you need to visit this place. We were at st John for 10 days and ate here 3 times and take out once. Everything I tried here was amazing. I was able to have the sashimi tacos, shrimp jerk tacos, salad with grilled fish and the Mexican burger as meals and all of it was delicious. Had conch and guacamole and chips for appetizers and were always good. You gotta have their key lime pie, it is so good. The fact that the food was always consistently good no matter what was chosen on the menu says a lot!
Now staff wise everyone is nice and great. But they have 2 gems for staff, Porscha and Zach. Porscha is the reason why my friends and I and husband went back after I first visit. She made us feel like we were long lost friends. Each time we went there was always an acknowledgment and big smile. Her drinks she makes are delicious as well!! Zach was what he called himself everyones wing man, he helps the servers out when they are busy. He was so nice.
If you are in St John you need to come here. Go see Porscha, Zach and the cute puppy that says hi to everyone and you won’t be disappointed by the food.

6 Stars if possible! We love this place. The servers and bartenders are all so welcoming. Food is excellent and a great view of the bay. Jamaican jerk fish tacos are superb and the homemade tortilla chips are pretty hard to beat as well!

Fantastic place with a great vibe in a great spot. Apps were spot on. Great burger. Great other stuff. You might think you want the crispy fish version of the fish tacos, but you don’t. You want the jerked version. Best I’ve ever had. Owner and bartenders were a really good time. Keep up the good work!
