The burger pulled through here ngl. The location low key sucks. Eating on a tiny barrel is also not exactly great. The wait was ONE HOUR for one little burger. That is AFTER standing in line. Absolutely ridiculous. Comunication is weird too and the screen pops the classic tip page after paying. My question is: what for?! There is literally no service.

I would say the patty is the highlight here. Proper smash with crunchy edges (say 9/10 as compared to something like Culvers) The sauce is very underwhelming (mayo mostly with a just a but of mustard and ketchup, I imagine). Pickles ok. Onion was a bit scarce, but then people in line were ordering without it ‍♂️. Vox populi, vox dei. Bun is fine. But damn, that meat is enough to carry it despite all.

I get it. The demand is high. But not meeting the demand comfortably is a small shortcoming on the restaurant’s side and a huge discomfort on the customer’s side.

If I were to rate the burger it would have been a “weaker” 5, not going to lie. Unfortunately, this rating has to represent the restaurant as a whole.

Think about it. For the time and money, you could literally drive to Vancouver and back for in-n-out gas and wait included. This is not even an exaggeration.

Come on guys, you can do much much better. I believe in you!

Run, don’t walk!! Just read about Sure Shot in Eater and I am wondering how I am just hearing about this spot now. Burger is perfect. Fries are hot and crispy. Service is friendly. What more can you ask for?

Burgers were good! Loved the crispy patties. They have some great sauces. I tried the fry and garlic ranch. Both have good flavor and a fresh taste. Chicken nuggets are crazy good! Go try this place.

Made out first trip to Sure Shot today and the meal was FIRE . Had the double cheeseburger and an order of fries, and when I went to pick up my food after a very short wait, they gave me an extra order of fries on the house.

The owner(s?) were super friendly and kind, and the food was exactly what you want in a smash burger. Thin patties with that tasty Maillard crust. Not too salty, good fat content, and the texture was consistent throughout. Excellent soft bun, tangy special sauce, and crisp pickles. Grabbed a great wheat beer from the bar next door and had a killer lunch with my lady. Put this burger on your list to try.

Currently they are running a special called the Mariners Burger, which mimics the classic Seattle Dog in smash burger form. It’s amazing, and absolutely inspired. However I’m not just here to write about the exceptional food this place serves, but rather the literal magic they deliver:

So, yesterday (10/17/2025 for future record) I, a lifelong Mariners fan, picked up said inspired burger on my way home from work to watch game 5 of the ALCS. For those who don’t know, this is an historically rare feat for the Mariners, and as excited as I was to watch the game I was also starving.

Fast forward to my arrival home–the M’s are down 2-1 and are once again beginning to look like a team that forgot how to play baseball. I sit on my couch exasperated, next to my dog with burger in hand. First bite: delicious, creamy, jalapeno spicy, CAL (BIG DUMPER) RALEIGH HITS A HOMER TO TIE THE GAME! I lose it, go absolutely ecstatic, dog is barking, etc. I realize I need to stand up and get some water so I do that. Next thing that happens, Blue Jays load the bases as I’m processing all of this sensory overload. I realize I’m once again starving and take a second bite–EUGENIO SUAREZ GRAND SALAMI! This is not hyperbole, nor lie, both bites led to some of the most impactful and momentous events in Seattle Mariners baseball history. My soul left my body, my brain still doesn’t function right, and this morning I still believe that this burger made history happen last night through osmosis and magic.

Tomorrow is game 6 of the ALCS. Will definitely be buying another burger, maybe 5 for it.

Amazing no frills smash burger food truck in the city. The folks working in it couldn’t be nicer. The burger was crispy, the sauce was packed with flavor and the fries were killer. Large outdoor patio to eat at.
