The quality and portion sizes have gone down tremendously. My husband and I eat here regularly, but the last two visits have been really disappointing. The rice was overcooked, the beans were undercooked, and the overall consistency just wasn’t there. They used to be generous with the toppings, so much so that I’d have enough for two servings, but lately they’ve been very skimpy.
I’m truly disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I won’t be returning anytime soon. I hope they’re able to turn things around.

To start off the food is always good!
A coworker went to pick up our food and when they returned we noticed one of our co-workers chips were missing. When I called to ask if there was anything that could be done because we could not leave work again they took the initiative to deliver the missing chips to our workplace! I do not remember the sweet lady’s name! That is something amazing customer service.

I love the food but the staff/customer service is so bad. Every time I get a to go order they ALWAYS forget part of my order (and I order food there a lot). I learned to just go inside and check behind them every time. And I am usually left standing there at food pick up a while before I am even noticed. This group needs better training and better management.

Last two times my husband and I ate here it just has not been good. My husband only gets 3 things in his bowl. Rice, beans, and chicken. They put one scoop of rice and almost no meat. He asked if he could have a little extra rice since he doesn’t get much and was told no. Then was told it would cost more. The fact we are already are paying over $30 for his bowl and one burrito you would think they could spare some rice …. I would get it if he was adding a ton of things to his bowl. Just a let down.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent order. Having been a loyal customer, I noticed a significant drop in quality; the meat was dry and the rice was undercooked. Given the price paid for a large family meal, the experience was quite disheartening. I hope to see these issues addressed in the future.

This place seems like it will be pretty good in the future, but may need to work out some kinks. We went in around 11 and I had the nachos. Everything tasted pretty good but there were a few issues. Unfortunately it seems like they likely used old chips from yesterday because they were super stale and lacked any sort of crunch. I also had a whole avocado half in my guac. It tasted fine but may need to work on the mixing part of the guac.

Although I rate this restaurant a 5 (great food), I still couldn’t help but notice the lady behind the register seemed very “blah.” Maybe she just didn’t feel good. My second observation was that the drink was $2.50, but the cup was so tiny. Once you fill it halfway with ice, you only get several swallows before your cup is empty again. Granted there are free refills… but what an expensive customer hassle for them to cut corners on their expense. Queso (melted cheese) was very expensive for the small amount provided. Also 2 bucks. I opted out of having queso. Lastly, the paper used to line the bowl gets soggy quickly. I ended up eating paper by mistake. Maybe they should get a better quality paper that doesn’t break apart with liquids/sauces. This is my second time eating there and like the first time I enjoyed the food! No complaints there; although scoop for the meat seemed pretty small. I’ll return! But, I will also bring my own bottled water. I don’t feel the drink situation is a fair deal. Food was reasonably priced. Great atmosphere, although I don’t prefer country music… It was still nice. They did not charge extra for guacamole. I don’t know if this was intentional. Floor sticks to my shoes.

If you want the wrong food with a side of terrible customer service please look for Brittany the general manager and Conner the operations manager. This place does not value their customers. All they care about is money. And trust me the portion sizes are a joke. I’d rather go to barberitos where my taco salad is filled to the top.

Alli, Kyra, and Jordan were super welcoming and the food was pretty good and fresh! I will definitely go back.
Update: Came back in tonight 12/16 and the service was yet again great. Elayiah was super helpful and accommodating!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Surchurros Warner Robins that has made it clear I will not be returning. On this occasion, I ordered a loaded chicken quesadilla with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. Despite my specific instructions (clearly written twice on the ticket), the toppings were placed directly on the quesadilla, making it inedible for me.
This is not the first time I’ve encountered issues at this location—on November 8, a similar mistake was made with my order. There was also the time they gave my family and I burned food but covered by placing the burned side down which caused us to discover this only once we were home. I tried to give the restaurant another chance, but this most recent experience sealed my decision to stop dining here.
When I called to address the issue, a young lady offered to either remake the meal or provide a refund. I politely requested a refund due to the repeated mistakes. A second person, Kira, then took over the call. I explained the situation again and why I preferred a refund over a remake. Kira insisted that I drive back to the restaurant to receive the refund, even after I explained that I lived far away and my husband was at work. I provided the order number (as I paid via the app), but she maintained that I had to come in person.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I returned the food and requested my refund. Kira initially attempted to refund only $11.13, which was less than the $14.98 I paid. When I showed her my receipt from the app, she acknowledged the discrepancy but claimed she could only process the lower amount. She then left to call her manager and returned with a new explanation: I couldn’t receive any refund because I needed to request it through the app. However, I did not see the option in the app for requesting refunds. When I asked for assistance with locating the option for refund it was not provided.
I asked Kira why she had me drive all the way to the restaurant if she couldn’t provide a refund, and she had no answer. When I asked if her manager was okay with me leaving without a meal or a refund, Kira confirmed that both she and her manager were fine with it. I requested the manager’s business card or direct contact information, but Kira said her manager had instructed her not to give out his personal information and that he instructed her to tell me to come back to the store on Monday after 10:30 AM if I wanted to speak with him.
This most recent experience as well as the past experiences has made me lose all trust in Surchurros Warner Robins. Their inability to follow basic instructions, paired with their dismissive and unprofessional approach to resolving their own mistakes, is unacceptable. I will not be returning and would caution others to consider their lack of accountability and poor customer service before dining here.
