I ordered through Door Dash, food was delicious. My only complaint is the sauce cups/the cups the sauces come in, I feel they could be a bigger size. They’re charging at least $4 for queso and it comes in a small container. Attached are the sauce cups.

Everything will always be better than Chipotle to me, the proportions aren’t skimpy here. And Surcheros means it when they say “Fresh” Mex, too!
There is so much variety, and everything is so flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone, truthfully. I really hope this place fairs better than Diablo’s did, its certainly got a line out the door right now! Here’s to hoping!

I went to Surcheros on 1-27-26. I ordered a burrito and took it to go. I ate it that night. The next day I had a stabbing pain in my gut and couldn’t shake the nausea. I went through the work day and the rest of the night using the restroom constantly with watery diarrhea and bad heartburn/gas. I spoke with someone else who went the same night and she experienced the same side effects, which seem to be similar to C. Diff. Not fun to get so sick when I have a trip scheduled for the next day and will be driving for hours.

I placed an order over $60 (which is a lot). May want to just go in and watch them make everything in case. We didn’t enjoy it as we didn’t get what we asked for. Some things were off. For example, I paid for each burrito to have queso added to each one as a topping (which costs like an extra $2-2.50. That was a waste of my money because they skipped putting that on there. They also didn’t put any sauce that we asked for on the burritos so they came out very bland. The lady with red dyed hair helping make the food that day was rude as soon as we walked in the door. It’s as if she was mad for just having to do her job. Came in to get the order at the time it said and it still wasn’t done yet and she was rude about that also. I didn’t mind to wait and give them time. I was very nice. They seemed to rush back there and she had a poor attitude it seemed due to the fact that she just had to work at her job which is sad to be that way towards people. I’ve heard from other people to be prepared for her when you go in. I didn’t totally get what I paid for on a big order. Basically just watch them make your food to make sure it’s right and be ready to deal with her.

I had the chicken burrito on a wheat tortilla. Food was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and inviting. The place didn’t change much inside. Overall, this is a great pick for anyone looking for a good and fast lunch. Thanks to Surcheros for coming to Bainbridge!

Food was good. However, I went to pour some fresh lemonade and when I got a sip of it it tasted terrible so I asked the worker what it was she giggled and said it is cleaner we are cleaning it, and I replied it would’ve been nice to have a sign saying that. She proceeded to say “you’ll be alright. You ain’t gonna die”

The two people who were working on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, provided great service. The food was good and plentiful. The menu, portions, and prices are comparable to Moe’s. We will definitely go back.

The dining room was very dirty, tables and floors. Also, my husband asked for steak and was told the manager didn’t feel comfortable serving the steak. Glad to have Surchero’s, but the overall atmosphere needs to be better or it won’t last.

This evening I just wanted to shout out to the girls and the gentlemen doing their job. This one customer in front of us, was complaining and making it complicated for one of the girls to check her out at the register. The girl at the register handled it very well and the other girls and gentlemen were just doing their job; as they were trained to do. The service was great and the food is amazing!
