Good quality food. Would recommend trying the brunch tasting menu in a group. The different kinds of hummus was well balanced in the different types of flavors.

Beautiful dining experience; the food was delicious, service was outstanding, and the space and ambience was perfect in their outdoor courtyard! We loved the lamb kebabs, baba ganoush, and the perfectly crispy and seasoned fries. Service staff were always attentive and really took care of us!

Suraya reminds me that the top restaurants in Philly are mid restaurants in NYC. I came here with high expectations because of Suraya’s reputation and left feeling mixed. The backyard is very beautifully landscaped and something special, but the train right next to it is very loud. Inside has good ambiance and the place seems well staffed, but the food was surprisingly bland. My Abu Sayf could use a generous pinch of salt and the halibut was so covered in sauce that they could have easily swapped it out for another cheaper white fish. I’m not saying they did, but I’m saying they could and you wouldn’t know the difference. My favorite dish was the ice cream. When I got to a Lebanese restaurant, I don’t want my favorite dish to be the ice cream. I suppose ultimately, it’s hard to spend $250 on pita and dips and not feel like you got jipped. I do want to note that the manager was attentive and accommodating. The fire alarm also rang for about 20 minutes while we were eating dinner.

This gets a WOW: Suraya is a Lebanese restaurant. We were fortunate to get a reservation over the weekend. The restaurant is tough to get into at times. But what you have to go through to get a reservation is well worth the effort

Despite not having a reservation, we were seated by the bar, where the bartender, who also served us, was incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. The restaurant’s ambiance was fantastic, with great lighting and a lively atmosphere. We had a wonderful experience overall. I would definitely go back.

Don’t miss the chocolate chip & halva cookie. It’s perfect. We went for brunch and everything was just fine. Maybe not worth a special trip, but well executed Mediterranean. The interiors are very thoughtful, fun and sophisticated.

Had a wonderful date night dinner at Suraya and enjoyed our meal a lot. We had three mezza, two mains and 3 cocktails, bill came out to be 180, with tips it’s definitely over 100 per person. The ambiance is really good and our server Brandon is very knowledgeable and friendly. My absolute favorite is lamb, it’s crispy and charred on the surface and very tender and juicy inside. Main dishes are on the smaller portion. I saw that they opened the backyard garden, it’s so pretty.
