Interesting restaurant. Had a girls’ weekday dinner here. Definitely not a typical steakhouse, with a fusion of American and Southern style. The church vibe gave it a unique dining atmosphere, but the open kitchen also reminded you that it is indeed a descent restaurant.

A much heralded Charlotte restaurant, not sure why it took me so long to visit — truthfully, I think I was jaded as diners would typically share “must try” dishes that seemed to be delicious but not gluten-free friendly.

My wife and I escaped here for dinner one evening and had a wonderful night. This was a contemporary family style, fine dining experience that was unique and delicious The ambience in the renovated church made it seem as if you were toasting drinks at the altar of flame as we sat at the chefs counter watching all the action. Service was great and the food fantastic. I’d say presentation of the food was probably the most unique of all. I’d come back although reservations are hard to come by and now I know why. One tiny critique is not to grill iceberg lettuce. With the high water content it gets soggy. But otherwise best food in town.

We came right before 5 pm for a birthday dinner with no reservation, on a Sunday. We were seated right away!

What unbelievably good steaks esp the filet – the strip was a little on the thin side for my liking or the price.

We started off the night here. As it was a Thursday evening, it wasn’t overly crowded. Great atmosphere and nicely crafted cocktails. We didn’t dine here but had a few different cocktails. Would love to visit again on a weekend as we were told the atmosphere is different on the weekends. Definitely worth a visit.

A two days ago my wife and I spent the afternoon in Charlotte and we decided to try Supperland. We were lucky enough to get seated outside. We aren’t keen on dining in during a pandemic. The entire thing is an experience that you have to try at least once. The old renovated building is like stepping into an architectural magazine. Just exquisite. The people go out of their way to make your experience is as delightful as possible. I won’t go into details of the food. It’s definitely a foodie destination. Take your favorite person and go!

Service and atmosphere is awesome the building is an old church and some of the seats are pews. We got pot roast potatoes mussels and the skewer salad. Mussels was the largest portion ever and the potatoes were our favorite. Would like to try croquets and steak next time back!
