I got my order to go, barbecue pork fried rice and sweet and pungent shrimp.
The portion size on the barbecue pork fried rice is really good, really large. The rice was cooked perfect, the flavor is definitely there. I would get this dish again.
The sweet and pungent shrimp was okay I suppose. Way too much sugary sauce if you ask me. Also, they do use smaller size shrimp then some other places in the area. I do like the fact that they do include broccoli with the order. I believe the amount/quantity of Shrimp portion size is just a tad smaller than what I would have liked. I’m not sure if I would order this dish again though. Maybe the experience is a little bit better in person. Please keep in mind, this was a to-go order that I got.
Parking is plentiful, even though it’s on Reseda and Ventura Boulevard basically. There is a free parking lot that you can park in. If you come for lunch during the week, it’s definitely busy, so be prepared to park maybe a little bit further away than you’d like to.
Overall, for takeout, this place was pretty good. I have to try this place in person another time when I have more time. But all in all, I would definitely give it another try.

SUPER WOK CHINESE RESTAURANT is a medium sized eatery with both table and booth seating. The decor, with its minimal display of Asian art, is comfortable. The several page long menu has a large selection of Chinese favorites. Many vegan items are offered.
Our server, a twenty year veteran, was well acquainted with the menu and offered several helpful suggestions. I’m a vegan. His knowledge of this large menu, make making my selection simple.
I ordered the egg rolls, fried wonton, and a vegetable chow main. The delicious, properly warm, vegan meal arrived in a few minutes. It was a very good.
Of course, they do take-a-way. Our friends took home a couple of extra dishes for an evening dinner. They said, “Reheated, it’s delicious.”

I’ve been to Super Wok twice now, and both times the experience has been consistently great. The food is delicious and well-seasoned—definitely comfort food that hits the spot.
While the ladies at the front aren’t the most welcoming, the server more than makes up for it. They’re attentive, always checking in to make sure everything tastes right and keeping drinks refilled without needing to ask. A nice touch is that they’ll even pack your leftovers for you, which adds to the overall great service.
Overall, Super Wok offers tasty food and solid service, making it a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Super Wok is amazing, we have been going there for many years. It’s like New York Chinese food. It’s got no msg or extra oil. Always delighted to be there & the staff is so nice, they are very sweet & do whatever it takes to please their customers. I almost don’t want people to know about this gem of a restaurant.But word out now.. it’s delicious.

We came in for some quick lunch, and had the egg rolls, hot and sour soup, chow mein, and orange chicken. It was all very good, especially the soup. The egg rolls were okay, and the sauces were great–I also like the spicy mustard they put out. They had Thai Tea which was nice 🙂

I’ve been coming to Super since the 90’s. The food was delicious back then and it’s still delicious today! I must say that their Kung pao chicken is my favorite dish here and anywhere I go. The rest of the menu is also delicious to say the least. I love coming here for when I’m craving Chinese food.

I had a very disappointing experience at Super Wok. The customer service was extremely poor and unfriendly. I was spoken to rudely and even scolded by the staff due to a misunderstanding when picking up a to-go order.
There was no professionalism or polite explanation at all. Instead of helping the customer, the staff made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. This is not how customers should be treated.
I hope the management of Super Wok will seriously improve their customer service.

This restaurant is amazing. The service was great and the food came out fairly quick. If you get the lunch special you will definitely be satisfied and full as the portions are large. The food itself was delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby and want quality Chinese food.
