First time ordering from here, ordered through Grubhub and had it delivered. Had the General Tsp chicken with white rice and the beef lo mein. The General Tso’s was the best I’ve had in this area! Yes it was dark meat chicken as it should be. It was fresh and crispy under a perfect sauce with just the right amount of heat. The white rice was fresh and all the food was hot. The beef lo mein was good with tons of meat and veg but I’d definitely ask for more flavor. Like a little more garlic or soy sauce, whatever you put in it to flavor it, it just needs a little bit more. The price seems a little higher than other places in the area, but I’ll still be ordering again.

I can’t really comment on the atmosphere as this is primarily a take out place, but this is BY FAR the best Chinese takeout for miles in any direction. The food is great, the prices are lower than nearly everyone else’s, and they are super friendly and attentive tyo any alterations you might ask for (extra spicy,, etc.) There are closer places to me but I’ll never go anywhere else in teh Somerdale/HI-Nella area again. Skip the rest, and go here for the best!

The person who helped us noticed we weren’t ordering entrees with meat and reminded me that an appetizer we added to the order had meat…he was very helpful and attentive! Let me be clear, I’m very picky about my food. If it doesn’t taste right to me, I’ll return it! This was my first time ordering from this place, and I was absolutely delighted! The food arrived piping hot, but more importantly, it was fantastic, fresh, and every dish was incredibly delicious. I had the shrimp foo yung egg, curry shrimp, and two chicken wings! Ordered General tso chicken white meat extra hot and spicy with whole chilli peppers and Beef and broccoli generals chicken was just nasty DARK meat which I can’t eat and not spicy at all lousy sauce and ice cold! Dog wouldn’t even eat it ! Beef and broccoli was no meat hardly and some broccoli but all rice in container! Disgrace really how are these people even in business ? I’m so freaking happy they are on doordash now – haven’t found a Chinese place that I both like AND is affordable. Their bourbon chicken is fantastic and their teriyaki chicken has a nice char to them without being dry. They’re perfect.
And look at the meat on them – not like the little desiccated ones I’ve had at other places. Juicy and delicious.

Food wasn’t what I had expected. The seafood in Chef Specialty A6 was soft and “mushy” particularly the shrimp, the chicken in Grandfathers chicken C21 was tough & dry, and rice was dry/overcooked as well.

Ordered through DoorDash. I was very excited to try this place because it’s close but the lo mein was maybe the worst I ever had. I hate saying that but I can’t remember a time Ive had it worse. Noodles were very mushy and it tasted like all they used was soy sauce. The pork in the fried rice did not taste good either. I ordered later in the night so maybe it was old but it’s going to be a while before I order from here again.
