I left Galt in a hurry because I had to get to the train station to pick up my pal Johnny Rebb..he had taken the last train to Clarksburg and I had to meet him at the station at 4:30!
Well, I got into Elk Grove right about the time I always eat lunch, and was way ahead of schedule, so I peeled off and hit up the Super Taco Mexican Restaurant for about the best tacos in the greater Sacramento area! The first 3 were so Amazing I had 4 more! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I placed a pre order of Chicken Tamales. I was told to pick them up today after 4pm on 12/24. I go on 12/24 and get there at 4:30pm only to be told they ran out of Tamales because of a system error. I told them I wanted a refund, and they said I had to wait until Friday to get my refund because the Manager was not there.

The food is always superb here. There are so many combinations you can put together. I love that they have nacho cheese. It is very hard to find a restaurant with that. They give you the option to have both nacho and shredded cheeses on your food. I tried the Blackberry Mojito (it tastes so yummy!), my husband had the delicious Mexican coke, and I got an horchata (which didn’t make me sick like other restaurants). It’s been a while since I’ve been here because I moved to a new part of town, but the drive here was so worth it. I missed this place!

I’ve been coming here for about 3 yrs now, and they’ve always been on point, but tonight was a little off. I usually ordered the boat anchor of a burrito, and I did again. I received this small burrito with nothing on it, it was dry so I asked the waiter for some sour cream. I sat back down and looked it up, 14 inches sour cream and guacamole, Pico, etc. I had him look at the menu, his mistake. It got corrected, and all the stars were aligned once more. Great food, great employees. You should be able to see the difference in the pictures. Go get some Mexican food at Super Taco

Everyone of the times I have dined here, the waiters are friendly and accommodating. This place is great without even mentioning the crazy good quality food. Anything you order with delight you with flavor and vibrancy to the eyes. Definitely recommend getting enchiladas or birria tacos, but anything will make this a regular stop

It’s been a while since we came over here so we took the family. The food is still on point and they updated the interior furniture a bit. Service was Kinda so so, but it wasn’t our servers fault. When you walk into an establishment you like to get recognized but it didn’t happen this time. Putting that aside, everything else was great. One of my favorite horchatas around.

The food and service are consistently very good, reasonably priced, and the restaurant is always very clean and atmosphere nice as well. If you like chili verde or fish tacos, I recommend both, everything actually, but those are 2 of my favs.

The service here has gone down. What’s with all the staff just messing around like they’re not at work? I heard all the gossip and even got to witness flirting amongst the staff as apparently there was an event going on later that night. They were more interested in the after party and who will be there than actually serving food. They forgot what we ordered and came to our table about 20 minutes after we initially ordered to clarify what kind of taco my cousin ordered. So of course my food came out first and got cold as we waited for the rest of the meal. We had to go up to the counter to pay after waiting forever, but the girls didn’t notice us between their gossip and got embarrassed when they noticed we can hear the whole conversation. The food was just okay. Dry enchiladas and the super taco was all lettuce. Absolutely no professionalism at this restaurant and the food is not what it used to be.
