This was my first time at the Jr. Mex. We are familiar with SuperMex.
The server was very friendly and helpful. The thing I think people should know about this spot is really it’s just for take away
Although there is some tables and chairs in there. Which we did stay and sit. I wouldn’t recommend it. The food was served in to go containers. Even though we were seated at a table. The mini chimmy’s were absolutely delicious. It comes with guac and sour cream. We also ordered the super Mex nachos. I wouldn’t recommend those. That being said we think they have good food.

Love this place I used to go to get lunch every Friday. I have not worked in the area for over 12 years but whenever I get the chance I visit this location I do. Some of the best tasting food, and I especially love the salsa, particularly the green at this location. My work arrangements have changed so I am closer again and hope to be able to eat her more often again. Only bad thing is the parking and if you are going to dine in there is only a few tables with this being a SuperMex JR.

That’s this place. Comfort food, great customer service,amazing atmosphere and the right amount of hitting the spot. I enjoyed the meal and went along my merry way?
It’s a consistent go to and has been, it doesn’t disapoint. The food is fresh. They not only were accommodating for my party of 6, but delicious chips and salsa was provided! I recommend getting the chicken and beef tacos as well as a wet burrito. I can’t wait to come back and bring new people with me next time!

The crunchy carnitas tacos are good ..I was just passing by,you got to eat so I tried it it’s ok. I ask about the salsa they said it’s hot ,the green salsa. It’s not spicy at all it’s very weak.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Jr. Mex on Cherry was far from the positive experience I’ve come to expect over the years. I had an unpleasant encounter with the manager, Maria, whose demeanor was both rude and dismissive. When I attempted to place a simple order for a burrito, she abruptly told me it couldn’t be made, without offering any explanation or alternatives. I’ve always believed that the purpose of a business is to serve its customers respectfully, and I was disappointed by the way I was spoken to. As someone who has been a loyal patron for many years, I left feeling unwelcome and disheartened. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

SuperMex just isn’t as good as I remember. My wet carne asada burrito was sort of dry to me. The sauce was lacking and the ingredients inside of the burrito were dry too. Ate only half. Chips tasted different. Still on a mission for a good wet burrito. Btw, this place has a Taco Tuesday.
