Lots of space, has hibachi (only uses teriyaki sauce), waitress was awesome. Went around 11:30a.m and food was ok, not fresh or hot. Later on better stuff came out. Ice cream is little cups. Salad bar is kind of sad. No tomatoes. Just lettuce and broccoli. You pay before ypu eat. There is a light at corner so easy in and out. Plenty of parking, could get rvs in here

We tried several different things and all of it was poor quality. Soups had no flavor rice was somehow burnt and undercooked. All in all i would not recommend the trip we paid 60 for 4 people and i doubt we finished a full plates worth of food.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve eaten here in 5 years. We saw a waterbug crawling up the booth I was sitting in back then, so I couldn’t eat there. Anyways it looked cleaner and brighter when I went in this time, so I tried it. Turned out very disappointing. The buffet needed maintained because some food was spilled over into other food and the food was old and some was hard for me to chew. The hibachi couldve been much better if wasnt cooked to long because it dried the chicken out. All the little cakes on the dessert bar were dry and stale. Then I found what looked like a small hair on one little cake. I will not go back here again.

This place was terrible, even by your typical subpar standards. The BBQ chicken is my go-to, and theirs did not even taste like chicken, definitely something more like pork. In addition, the meat of the chicken was brown, rather than white. It definitely looked discolored.

Arrived at 11:30 June 14 2023, no AC on and horribly hot inside, did not get turned on until 12:15. All meat dishes had very hard dry meat as if it was left over from previous nights dinner or prepared extremely early this morning, some beef was so hard it was not edible. I ordered hot tea but it tasted as if they had forgotten to wash the soap out of the teapot, tasted like dish soap. Sorry but when this was called Mandarin Buffet, under different owners, this was a fantastic buffet. Food was always freshly prepared and tasty. Terrible food quality now and will be the last time we patronize. We have tried once a year since Mandarin owners left, hoping it would get better. Sadly, it has gotten worse. The parking lot used to be full, even at lunch, when it was Madarin, now there are few cars in the lot. Overall, we need another large Chinese food buffet in Cookeville. There are small Chinese restaurant in town, with good food, but not with large varieties.

We used to really like the food from the grill. Maybe it’s just the cook, but it wasn’t like it used to be. The cook put little effort into my requests. No teriyaki, no eggs in my rice.

Since I can’t give less than one star, they get the one. The food is mediocre and bland at best. You can see on the line where some foods have been sitting for a very long time and should have been replaced. But what really bothered me about the place was that the owners of this restaurant run a tyrannical business. They treat their non Chinese employees like they are expendable. People who work at buffets typically receive poor tips yet work their butts off. The wait staff makes a less than livable wage which results in a high turnover rate. I have no intention of going back…I’ll be giving all my business to Panda Garden.

Not great food. feels like it sits a long time kind of mushy and bland, not much flavor happening in any of the dishes. Sushi is very basic and lacking of fish, mostly filler stuff and cut paper thin in most anything, everything tastes old . Best part is the moglian bbq that’s pretty good, but the rest is not good. Would not go back

I got a small plate from the Hibachi, it was good❗ The food on the buffet was cold, except for the soup, it was at least pretty warm and they had good steamed wonton❣ I was disappointed, because my whole family used to go here and it was good once upon a time, that time has passed I fixed myself a small salad plate and had about 4 bites before a gnat flew right into my salad, I was done with that Should have gone to POPEYES for chicken, you can’t go wrong there and it would have cost a little over half the price, I have coupons This was over $10, without a drink❗ LIVE AND LEARN
