All of our packaging is 100% compostable. In fact, we’ve worked so hard at it, we don’t even have trash cans — just recycling and compost! We work with local farmers, sign painters, and artisans because it reduces our carbon footprint, and, frankly, because they’re some of the best in the world.

This location of Super Duper is especially fresh for some reason. The employees are also super chill and nice. We ordered a double burger and when we got it, we realized it was a single. Before we could even turn around and tell them, they already realized their mistake and started re-prepping our burger. Instead of taking our wrong order away, he brought a to-go bag for us so we can take the extra burger home! I was really impressed.

This spot is conveniently located on the corner of California and Laurel with parking available in the rear. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy your meal however you prefer.
Truffle Burger
I tried the Truffle Burger special, two ways: one with a regular bun and one with a ciabatta bun. This burger is a masterpiece—caramelized onions and melted Jack cheese pair perfectly with the rich truffle oil that coats every bite. It’s phenomenal! While the ciabatta bun held its structure well and offered a heartier bite but overall I think I prefer the classic bun for its balance. Also, definitely ask for some ranch on the side and pour it on before your next bite—it’s a great bite for sure.
Garlic Fries
The garlic fries are next-level, loaded with garlic and topped with six-month-aged white cheddar. Absolutely delicious!
Extras
They’ve got a self-serve soda fountain with ketchup, mustard, and spicy pickle spears. Grab a Dr Pepper or Coke and pair it with a few pickle spears—it’s a surprisingly good combo.

After your meal, cool down with their iced tea. Add some lemon and sugar for the perfect finish.
Overall: This place delivers on all fronts—flavorful food, great vibes, and a solid setup. I know they are a chain but if you haven’t had super duper, it’s definitely worth a visit!

I clearly said when I ordered no sauce or anything on my burger when my burger came out. It was fine. There’s no sauce or anything but on the bag that the burger was in there was mustard smeared all over the bag and it got on my clothes and I can’t get this stain out also when I told this to the employees they did not care at all. They were just like “cool dude”

Super Duper veggie burger hit! Great spot to hang as well. There was a decent amount of crowd but nothing too overwhelming. They also have a happy hour as well as some interesting shakes. Also love the location! Can’t go wrong in Laurel Heights

Just walked out of this place. Male person taking order is a jerk. Young guy; probably in mid 20s. From the very second I interacted with him; he was RUDE. I started by saying my order was ‘to-go’…he pointed to the door and TOLD ME ‘I could go’. He must think he’s some kind of comedian. He’s not. I’ve eaten here often…(correction–used to eat here often). No more. He thought he was being funny by being a sarcastic smart-alec to me. Nearly everything I asked from him he refused. No extra sauce on the burger. Wouldn’t cut my burger in half. Said it was against company policy. However, whenever I’ve requested this in the past it’s never been a problem. He said it wasn’t possible to crispy-up my fries as I requested. When I called him on his horrible attitude and service; he informed me (the customer) that I have a horrible attitude and was being rude to him. He then offered to take it ‘outside’ with me…a suggestion I promptly agreed to. He then informed me that us ‘taking it outside’ would have to wait until he got off his shift at 2pm. I was standing in front of him at 1145am. I’m retired…a senior citizen…former military family…never rude or ill-mannered to anyone. I make a point of being respectful to everyone I meet until they prove worthy of my disrespect. I’ll never return to this location. Horrible, rude, unprofessional, uncooperative, no ‘can-do’ attitude. The Market Street location is larger, cleaner and has ALWAYS happily, professionally and courteously accommodated my order requests. I will tell everyone I know about the worst service experience I’ve had in many years…this includes the DMV and SFMTA!
Brief update: I just walked out of the Market Street location for Super Duper Burgers…it’s 12:15pm same day. EVERYTHING I requested was happily acknowledged and agreed to. I got my extra sauce on the burger…my burger was cut in half…and my fries came out crispy and golden brown. No excuses…no problems…no corporate policy limitations expressed to me. Just polite, prompt, courteous service.
Fire this jerk ASAP. He should never be in front of a customer in any service capacity ever again.

Who could not resist a burger, fries, and soft serve. I have been to other locations within the city but not this one. They have improved their technology at this location where you can order and pay at a kiosk as an option. The food was consistent with the other locations. What I was impressed with was the waitstaff as they were super accommodating and friendly.
