My partner and I decided to find a new chicken joint somewhere in the South Sound, and lo and behold, it was Super Chix in Lacey. Let me tell you what’s what, this was not a decision made lightly I have had some of the most phenomenal chicken in the south. These sandwiches were something different. They were tender, thick, crunchy. The sauces provided were delectable. The service was immaculate. In fact, during my meal, we got a phone call that was very exciting to both my partner. So the woman at the front of the counter offered us a little bit of a discount on our custards. It was above and beyond from the customer service perspective. 10/10

I ordered ahead of time Bacavo Ranch Fried, slaw, Dutch chocolate shake. Took me five times to get my CC security code to stick, but found a way. When I got there the order was ready, but the shake wasn’t, it would be about five more minutes, so that worked against the sandwich, it could have been ten minutes sitting in plastic before I got my first bite. Took it out to the car, my wife was driving, so I opened up the sandwich. About half way through, juice was leaking down my hand, I reached into the bag for a napkin, no napkin, (or fork for the slaw).
Put the sandwich back in its container. Wiped my hands on the paper bag, concentrated on the shake, which was excellent.
When I got home, I put the sandwich in the microwave for 30 seconds, total soggy meltdown. I rescued the bacon and threw the rest away. The slaw is excellent, not too sweet a refreshing citrus flavor, I would consider the shake and slaw again.
With tip and tax my sandwich, shake, slaw was $26.77, Not saying I won’t go back to Superchix, I’ve got my eye on that mint shake, but they aren’t at the top of my list.

Had the chicken Parm sandwich and Cajun fries. The sandwich was good, I mean it tasted like chicken Parm soooo, but them fries though . I had the Cajun fries and while the flavor was delicious, it was cooked to perfection. It’s hard finding good fries, but I just learned it’s possible! I just hope it wasn’t a one off. Will be back to make sure

Delicious food and great service! The blackened chicken sandwich absolutely hit the spot, and the rosemary pepper fries were wonderful. My only qualm is the custard being served alongside the kids meals, leading to a drippy, metly mess.
Other than that, this was a great trip and we will definitely be back – although next time, we will probably ask to wait on the custard!

We went for the first time on Saturday and had to come again on Sunday. It was REALLY good! The chicken is tender, moist, and perfectly breaded. The sandwiches are HUGE. The fries are perfect. The only thing they didn’t have that I wanted was mayo for my fries. They only offer an aioli. There were a ton of sauce choices for the tenders, though. I really enjoyed their coconut frozen custard. It is pricey, but worth it!

AMAZING !!! Staff super friendly. Food is great !!! The Korean BBQ sandwich rocks. Giving the other chicken store a run for their money. The bread is light and not filling. The chicken is perfectly deep fried and there is a lot of it. The Nashville Hot and the Blacken Cajun were also very tasty. Fries – a large will feed a family of four. The Loaded Fries with the quest blanco cheese really pulls this dish together. All of their sauces and good. The Nashville Hit was really hot from the condiment bar, but the sandwich was not and perfect. Their custards are great as well. We sampled a lot of food and we had no complaints.
We will be back for sure.

Excellent chicken tenders, but that’s about it. The sandwiches leave a bit to be desired.
One thing that really bothers me, and this has to do with the service. They ask for a tip up front, but can’t help but bring out the frozen custard with the meal.
It melts. Ice cream melts. Not sure why they can’t wait to bring it out, I even asked the cashier to please let us come back for the frozen custard so it wouldn’t melt, she said yes, I tipped well for the consideration, and then they brought it out anyway.
Maybe give me the bowl so I can go up after and get dessert? The kids of course were distracted by the ice cream and didn’t finish their food. They acted full but of course had room for a whole bowl of ice cream.
The cheese fries have a white, cheese like substance on them that is likely mostly sodium citrate. Fries were good, but man that cheese sauce doesn’t even seem close to cheese anymore.
This place could be so much better, but they need to pay attention to customer requests, and figure out how to melt regular cheese.
Their brownies are also pre packaged in plastic, they really charge too much money for this level of “cuisine”.
I do like the sauce bar, they legit are not afraid to make hot & spicy sauces, and I enjoy that.

This was my first time at any SuperChix. I ordered two salads and a large fry to go. My food was prepared fast and fresh. The portion size of the salad was the saddest excuse for a salad. For the price it was tiny and way to expensive. The salads were nothing special, no special toppings or add-ins to make it taste yummy. The fries were a little too soft and squishy. This was a complete waste of money. Save yourself from a terrible meal and go somewhere with bigger portions and better ingredients.

This was my first visit and I thought how different could chicken actually be here in comparison to other places? Well, tonmy surprise the chicken tenders were really and very thick, unlike other places. They were also so flavorful and juicy. Additionally, I have never tried custard previously because I was somehow apprehensive about the texture, but I tried the heath bar custard, and was completely hooked and bought a pint of it. Everything is a little expensive but it’s worth the cost.
