This place is fantastic! They definitely went above and beyond. If you are a Dragon Ball Z fan, you need to hit this place up!
The food was top notch, not often I get my Pho piping hot! Not to mention, how yummy the drinks were! Definitely recomened the Thai Tea drink and both the Pho Duoi Bo (ox tail) and Pho Ga ( white chicken)!
This was such an excellent experience! The artwork was amazing and it really set the tone, but what was really surprising was the food. It was so fresh and delicious, packed with flavor. A must for anime friends and non!
The hot stone pot pho is the star of the show. It arrives sizzling, with the broth still boiling as it’s brought to your table. Not only does this keep your soup hot until the very last bite, but it also adds a rich, concentrated flavor. The noodles weren’t my favorite but it was still good. Everything tasted fresh.
The uniqueness didn’t stop there. I was yet again surprised that instead of bringing a ready to eat dish, they instead brought ingredients for me to cook. Don’t worry, “cooking” involved nothing more than pouring all the ingredients into a stone bowl, which cooked and kept them hot until I was ready to eat. The pho I ordered was fresh and tasty, thanks to the inclusion of wider/soft noodle. Its soup was also flavorful and wasn’t too thick nor light.
Their service was also good and the staff were friendly. Moreover, each table had a button installed to ring and quickly receive services when needed. Overall, my experience was amazing and I would definitely be back, real soon.
The oxtail had lots of meat and had a good flavor. Bun Bo hue wasn’t bad and had a strong shrimp paste taste which I love.
My main issue was that the food was cold. Meaning, the restaurant did not heat up the food prior to packaging it. My pho broth, bun Bo hue soup and noodles were cold. The pho noodles were warmed and boiled either fresh or that day.
Because the bun Bo hue noodles weren’t boiled fresh, and seemed to have been refrigerated, when I heated them up and pour the broth over it, the texture had a bite to it similar to when you leave noodles in the fridge for a day.
Idk that I’ve ever encountered receiving cold food for a to-go order, even though we end up reheating it at home, but at lot of people assemble it without boiling the broth again, so that was odd to me receiving it that way.
Overall I’d order from here again, especially for the beef carpaccio despite the meat still being frozen when I received it lol.
Place is a bit small. But very cozy and the anime decoration makes it very interesting. Food is delicious
