As a local, I really wanted to love Super Baked Pizza in Helen — especially since we gave it a second try after about a year. I was hoping that they would work out the bad and figured I would give it another try with the tourist reviews. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as the first time.
We ordered for pick up as we do pizza nights at our house every Saturday. The pizza was undercooked, with a doughy, soft center that felt like it needed several more minutes in the oven. Maybe they should change the name to “Half Baked”? On top of that, the ingredients were extremely minimal. There was barely any meat on the cheeseburger pizza, mostly pickles, it honestly felt unfinished. For the price, you expect a well-cooked pie with generous, balanced ingredients — not something that tastes rushed and half-done.
We gave it another chance hoping things had improved, but sadly it was the same experience all over again. As a local who loves pizza and supporting restaurants in Helen, this one continues to miss the mark. Definitely won’t return for a third time. My oven just preheated so we are ending this experience with putting our pizza back in the oven with added ingredients.

We ordered garlic bread, cheese pizza, and a veggie pizza. Everything was delicious — the pizzas were flavorful and fresh, and the garlic bread was a perfect side. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was nice and clean, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for pizza and definitely worth a visit!

An absolute gem! Interior is so cute, staff was super friendly and attentive, and the pizza was delicious! Crispy crust but it was also soft, taste very fresh. Easily the best pizza I’ve had on my trips to Georgia!

This was an amazing find. We were staying in Helen and found this pizza place just 8 minutes away. This was the best food we had the entire trip. We ordered the mango habanero pizza. It was not super spicy and the crust was so good. They seem to do more to go orders but we decided to eat in. There is a huge outdoor seating area and plenty of room for families. We both kept saying how much we enjoyed the pizza. I highly recommend them if you are nearby.

Ordered take out Greek salad and Greek chicken pizza. Salad was delicious and pizza was tasty. They did not have plastic silver ware, which is disappointing since it’s to go… and we ordered a salad… had to use spoons from our hotel lol. They didn’t give us any napkins or plates. (Had to ask for a plate, but they didn’t give us napkins) I didn’t think we’d have to ask for basic items being it’s “to go”… So if you order take out from here, bring your own utensils!

My family and I are in town visiting from Orlando and it makes me sad that they don’t have a spot closer to us. The pizza was SO good. Recommend the sweet heat pizza and the Philly pizza. Marissa is super kind and she’s a hustler as well making sure everyone had what they needed, taking orders, cleaning up, and delivering our food. Super chill vibes as well. I’m excited to eat our leftovers for breakfast!

Wanted a pizza, but didn’t want to go downtown Helen. Quickly did a google search and found this place. So glad we did, it was awesome! My kids keeping raving about how good the pizza was. The only thing I would change is the drink situation. Only options for non-alcoholic drinks are buying individual bottles or a 2-liter soda bottles. Wish there was an option for fountain drinks.

We stumbled upon this gem after a long day of Mtn. bike riding at Yonah Preserve. We were visiting from an urban area, so my expectations were not high. I was wrong. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how clean it was. I’m talking eat off the floor kind of clean. We were greeted warmly before the door even closed behind us and placed our order at the counter. They have hand tossed dough and a thin & crispy crust. We ended up having both kinds. They were both excellent, but if it’s your first time here I recommend the house-made hand tossed. It was fresh and light, but had enough structure to hold all our toppings. We ordered it crispy and it was perfect.I had read another review before we arrived that said they were stingy with the toppings. This was not true for us. I would use the word generous to describe both toppings and cheese quantities. The cheese was high quality and melted nicely. The toppings and the cheese butted up to the crust. The thin & crispy pizza also had plenty of toppings. It’s a cracker crust, which I love, but that style pizza is not for everyone. We got to chatting with the owners, Lisa & Ray and their daughter (She makes all dough fresh, but I cannot remember her name. I’m so sorry!). It’s a family business and a labor of love for them. The decor was funky and they have a huge outdoor area. It had plenty of seating, a stage and space for kids to run around. The pizzas were excellent, and their service made everything even better. Good people doing what they love are my kind of people. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

The pizza tasted fresh and the calzone was huge to share with 2 people. It was delicious. But the place lacked customer service. Pretty much you order the pizza at the counter then you pick up your pizza at the counter. They don’t bring it to your table when its ready, it’s pretty much self serve. Maybe this will change in the future. The husband and wife that own it were nice. But the young girl seemed she was annoyed for being there. Will I be back? Maybe in a couple of months to give them time to adjust.

This pizza was some of the BEST pizza I have had in a while! We tried their new specialty pizza – balsamic glazed white chicken and it was amazing!! So cute inside as well as QUICK and friendly service! A must try!
