I would have almost traded my eggs and bacon for that bowl of oatmeal my wife had. It looked good, and she said it was good. Check the pictures. I had my usual. The hashbrowns could have been a little crispier. Certainly not cooked as I ordered. I doubt if the cook staff gets bogged down with the details of the order. They dip it out and get it out. The food was out in seconds after the waiter left the table. That’s good if you are in a hurry. They serve the Segafredo Zanetti brand coffee. It might be a little too flavorful for the average diner, that is used to used to bland coffee. I liked it.
The service is average. Diner ambiance. Clean. Not as crowded as you would expect a diner to be on a Sunday morning. That’s an indicator.

The food was amazing, and there was a lot. We ordered the Bacon Omelette with grist and hash browns, and the avocado toast. Our server Rachel was super nice. The place was decorated very beautifully. The food came out really fast even though they were very busy, but the table was a bit sticky probably from syrup.

My recent visit to Sunview Cafe was unfortunately a disappointment compared to my usual experiences there. The service was okay—nothing particularly wrong, but it lacked that warm hospitality that makes a dining experience memorable.
I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. Unfortunately, the presentation was sloppy enough that I didn’t even bother taking a photo; it looked like it had simply been placed on a Dollar Tree plate without much care.
The chicken fried steak itself was not seasoned at all. Most of the little flavor it had came from the breading rather than the steak. The corn was even more disappointing—completely lacking flavor, almost as if it had just been taken straight out of a bag and reheated in the microwave.
The only redeeming element on the plate was the garlic mashed potatoes. They were creamy and comforting, although the garlic was slightly overpowering.
What makes this experience more surprising is that I usually visit Sunview Cafe for breakfast, and I’ve never had issues with food quality before. Sadly, this lunch visit turned out to be a total disappointment.

Probably the best breakfast I’ve had from any place, service was great and food was on the table within 5 minutes of ordering, Whitney was my server and she was hustling making sure everybody was taking care of and checking on people, definitely would recommend her to be anyone’s server you won’t be disappointed

Service was a little slow considering they weren’t busy and not real friendly. Apparently you only get that treatment if you’re a regular. But I get it, easier to chat up a regular than a stranger.
Food was good. My wife and I both got the breakfast skillets and the rest of the day we felt a little ick. Not saying it was the food, could have been something else. But nice place.

We usually always have a good time and experience at sunview but recently we’ve had terrible service. Every time we’ve gone in the past couple months we have gotten the same waitress with a nasty attitude. She always seems annoyed to serve us and throws our straws and lemons down when we ask for some. Mind you we’re not picky people and our only request were that we have some lemons for our waters. We waited over 15 mins for drinks to come out which was only water . It makes us really disappointed as this is one of our favorite breakfast places in Anna. We hope that the service improves so that we are able to come back as regulars!

The food is great, and the service can be improved. My sister asked for salad instead of hash browns, and they still brought hash brown. But still, I would come back to try more dishes. And I really loved the French Benedict eggs

This is our family’s go to spot for breakfast out! Small town diner vibes while also being a cozy, sit down restaurant. Service and food are always solid. I’m a bit of a foodie and a picky mama & this place seems to have good quality food. The last couple times we’ve been Rachel has happened to be our server and she is wonderful. Lots of older retired folks and local families of all ages. Definitely a chill spot to go if you’ve got littles like us. On the weekends they do get pretty busy, so be prepared to get on the list and wait 20/30 minutes.

Wow, this place is amazing. Always crazy awesome and fast service. Food cooked to perfection. The wait staff are all super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant feels like home. Their menu is huge and I can’t wait to try it all. Love the decor and everything about them honestly. Place is very clean. They even have fresh squeezed orange juice. I got the avocado eggs benedict and my fiancé got the chicken fried chicken breakfast. We would come every morning if we could! Thanks so much!

Magnificent. Huge menu choices. Skillet selections have crispy hash browns underneath. Spicy chorizo isn’t greasy, it’s really special for Texas. The chicken fried chicken is incredible. Trust the menu ingredients as they are listed and your mouth will dance!
