I was looking for a delicious croissant and boy did I find one… okay four! we could not help but get more than we came for because everything looked so tasty. The bakery offered to heat our pastries for us, but since we had a bit of a drive home we used the provided heating instructions and they turned out perfectly heated and crispy. We got a plain croissant, a strawberry croissant, a fajita steak croissant, a pistachio croissant, and two Vietnamese coffees. The plain croissant was fluffy and pillowy and enormous! The coffees would have been pictured but they didn’t make it home we got them plain, and they were perfectly sweet and bold, but they also have flavors to add. As an unexpected bonus, we were also given two free chocolate chip cookies, and the gentleman mentioned they give a free cookie with purchase. The space was a little crowded as there were a few other people waiting, but that’s a good thing to see! It is clear that the baker takes pride in their craft and the artistry is undeniable. We’re very hopeful this bakery thrives, and we can’t wait to come by and try everything we didn’t get this time around.

I love this bakery! The owners are so sweet. I have been a few times & I enjoy the smiles every time I come in. Customer service is a 10/10. The almond croissant is my favorite of all. I get it heated up and it is chef’s kiss. They have a rotating menu so they do offer new items on the menu every week and some that they always serve. They also have boba teas & Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything I have tried has been amazing so far.

Not much a review person but I feel like I should tell everyone how amazing sunshine is!! I’ve been coming here a little bit after they opened shop and let me tell you they never disappoint!! My personal favorite is the pistachio croissant! Every cake is a banger and the sourdough bread is the best bread you will ever purchase!! The owners are super friendly and will always strike up a great conversation while you wait on a delicious coffee or boba. Personally my favorite bakery and hopefully will become one of yours as well!!

Best culinary experience I’ve ever had I will be coming back more frequently. I had the mango pastry along with the Cajun blossom. As you can tell I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place.

Sunshine makes some of the most scrumptious pastries and breads I’ve ever had. In fact, her croissants are the best outside of France! I discovered her goods at the Irondale Farmers Market this summer and since then she’s added sourdough bread. Her sourdough has a really complex, and deep flavor. She said the starter was developed from apples! Sunshine cares about the qualities of her goods and her artistry is unsurpassed. I highly recommend this bakery. I’ve tried many of her goods and was never disappointed.

This was our first time visiting Sunshine Bakery. We’ll definitely be back as the pastries were delicious! We arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday so some things had already sold out. The early bird gets the worm! We got almost 1 of everything available. They offered to warm up our pastries if we were eating there but there was a line forming once we arrived and didn’t feel like sitting outside in the summer heat so we opted to take it home. There are picnic tables outside and a counter to stand at inside but it would be hard to dine in inside as that’s where the line forms. It wasn’t a problem for us to take the pastries home and warm it ourselves. They were very helpful with warming instructions. I would highly recommend Sunshine Bakery and try everything- both sweet and savory!

My wife heard about this cute little bakery from a friend and really wanted to try it. We went and had a delicious BBQ chicken pastry, a cookie croissant, and fruit teas with boba. Sunshine and her husband were very nice and sweet. Definitely worth going back again soon!

This was my first time visiting this cute little bakery, and I was so impressed! The service was amazing, and everything looked so good. I ordered the Powerup Mushroom pastry, a piece of cake, and a plain croissant. The Powerup Mushroom was hands down my favorite!! Every layer was a delicious surprise and Sunshine is so talented!
I did, however, wish the baked goods were a little bit sweeter.
This place is such a hidden gem. My daughter loved her purple cake and said it was delicious! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Nice, quaint stop for fresh bread, sweets, and good neighborly conversation. I bought a loaf of the Rosemary Sourdough bread and a peanut butter cookie. The bread and cookie were delicious. I could smell the fresh herbs in the car on my way home, and the Cookie was moist with a slight crumble- perfect with a glass of cold milk! The bread should keep for a few days, if I’m tempted not to keep snacking away, and it toasts nicely too. Will define be back again!
