Incredible food, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food here is very authentic and not bland like other Vietnamese restaurants in the south of Calgary. The prices are very decent for what you are getting, and its always been nice and easy to come in for a meal. The spring rolls are fried fresh and are super delicious, and the vegetables and meat we get are always fresh as well. Very well portioned food and the pho sate is very tasty, they use real peanuts and sate. (Peanut butter/paste seems to be a common shortcut for Vietnamese restaurants when they make Pho Sate)
The owners are lovely wonderful people, they have always been kind to us when we come in and have even put in the effort to remember our orders by heart. We don’t even have to order anything, we just have our food brought to us. They give us service unlike most restaurants and I think this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the South of Calgary.
The restaurant is a little run down, but that doesn’t stop me from coming in for a delicious bowl of pho.
If you live in the area is definitely worth coming in for take out or dine in.

I was really disappointed with my order from Sunshine Vietnamese. I ordered a tofu dish, but it was basically a container of flavorless liquid and white rice. There were hardly any pieces of tofu in the entire meal. It felt like I was eating rice soup rather than a solid entree. For the price, I expected a proper meal with actual protein, but instead, it was just soggy and a complete waste of money. I won’t be ordering from here again.

My wife and I come here a lot when we can, the owners treat us like gold and the food never disappoints.
I don’t doubt if you give them a try, that you’d be shocked how good it is.

Sunshine is a fantastic family-run restaurant. The pho (#29 pictured) really hits the spot on cold days and is a personal favourite.
Their menu also includes a wide variety of delicious vermicelli and stirfry dishes.
The interior is clean and the owner greets you with a smile.
Highly recommended!

Back again for this Family restaurant style Vietnamese noodles place. Decor is a bit dated but place is clean and friendly service. Ordered typical special soup noodles. Overall good. Will come back mainly for the location not too far away from home. Try out the young coconut slush – really good.

This is one of the best Vietnamese spots in the city. I typically stick to the satay pho, which is fantastic. It’ll run you about $15. The other dishes I’ve tried here have all been amazing.
The owners are incredibly friendly. The food comes out really fast, and it tastes fresh. Honestly this usually comes out cheaper than fast food for my family, and the food is so much better.
Do yourself a favor and go here if you like Vietnamese food.

It’s fine, the noodles in the vermicelli and pho are fine. The broth is fine. We’ve tried dine in and dine out and the experience is very similar.

I work nearby, so I eat here at least once a week. The food is always incredibly fresh-some of the best I’ve had anywhere. l’ve tried a few different dishes, but the spicy beef sautéed soup is my absolute favorite. It has the perfect level of heat and so much flavor. Honestly, it’s the best l’ve found in the city.
