Whether you put ice cream in a waffle cone or a cup or between 2 large cookies, you’ve got yourself something special as a dessert. Yes, you can create your own ice cream sandwich. You chose two cookies from their cookie showcase, and then sandwich humongous amounts of ice cream between them to make your Sammie. Unbelievable! The large, freshly made cookies themselves, would be enough or the ice cream would be enough, but to put both together and make an ice cream sandwich…more than enough! It’s incredible!

Great place to grab a late bite of something sweet. Tons of gluten free options, ice cream was delicious-little lacking in forward flavor. They were out of gf cookies, and I will be going back to get the full experience. They offer Togo Sammie’s as well.

Wedding cake schmedding cake! With a referral from our wedding venue, we connected with Susie Pearson at Sunshine Sammies for our event, and their work helped us make our day a huge success. We already knew we loved their ice cream and cookies, but we were immediately impressed with how kind, professional, and responsive Susie was. We had about 150 guests and were able to serve multiple options including seasonal as well as vegan/gluten free options. Susie’s team facilitated a complimentary tasting with Danielle (who curates the ice cream recipes—she’s a mastermind!) so we could choose our options. The two staff who served at our event were great—social, friendly, and bright. The portions were outstanding. Our guests LOVED the surprise of having the ice cream sandwiches versus a cake. Bravo to all. Our wedding was a hit due to Sunshine Sammies. Thank you Susie and team!

My expectation was a milkshake but that’s not what they’re about. I had a double scoop snickerdoodle sammich. The cookies are amazing, along with the ice cream. It was so good I decided to try the strawberry-sugar cookie Sammich as well. You only live once, I suggest extra ice cream. Thanks!

Absolutely delicious! Sunshine Sammies has the best ice cream sandwiches — fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. I was so excited to see them show up at an event I attended recently, and they were definitely a hit! It’s always such a treat getting one of their sammies — you can taste the quality in every bite. Highly recommend them for any event or just a sweet pick-me-up!

I’ve been a few times now because I will bring family/friends. The ice cream sandwiches are large, so the prices they set are reasonable to me. I docked a star because we had to wait long the first time we went. They were busy, but the people behind us got their order before we did. I had to ask where our order was and it wasn’t there at all. They did make the order next once they figured out that our order was lost. Seemed like a communication issue between the person taking our order and the guy making the orders. The second time we went, the service was much better.

I would make the 6+ hour drive to Asheville just for these ice cream sandwiches. They were so delicious! And reasonably priced! I don’t usually go for ice cream sandwiches(cookie or otherwise) because there just never seems to be enough ice cream, and they’re usually pretty small. These were huge! Which is exactly what I want! The cookies were big but didn’t overpower the ice cream, and tasted amazing. The ice cream (3 large scoops of it!) was perfectly creamy and delicious. 10/10 definitely will be back.

This was worth every calorie! The cookies are made fresh on site, you get 3 large ice cream scoops. I felt like I was in heaven here! Highly recommend. Staff was working so hard too
