The menu has many traditional and unique options. The sliders, sides and deserts are all scratch made, and not store bought. Sliders can be customized with different types of waffle flavors. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They offer suggestions and answer questions so you will surely love your order. The atmosphere is casual. It’s not fancy or romantic. Each slider is unique and made to order, there are card games to play while waiting. It’s family friendly. We will be back to try them all! Great place.

We dined in and ordered the pastrami, BLT, and cuban, all on the herb waffle, which were all absolutely delicious! (So delicious in fact that we ordered the black bean burger to go!) Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu 🙂

Great taste, service, and very worth the price. Had the smores, it was very good, and many others with great flavor. We got a pulled pork slider and the Muffaletta sandwich to go too that had capicola and other meats on it, and I will be getting those again and again. The peanut butter pie was thick and delicious as well as the Chocolate cookie, lime delight, and the la bete noire cake slice. Got ginger bourbon balls, they taste great, STRONG bourbon flavor, its literally like taking a shot lol but in a ball of dessert. LOVE IT. All delicious!! Going here regularly and taking more pictures. They can seat 32 people, you can order to go, everything is made to order so takes patience, and they’re CASH only. Located behind the Scrounge Around flea market inside the Furniture Barn.

Our first visit! Michele and Fred were very helpful helping us decide what to order. We ordered too much, but wanted to try a variety. Everything is worth trying. I would order any of the items again, but will probably try new dishes the next time I am there.

Super yummy! Fun and upbeat staff, super nice and friendly. They were playing some good tunes this morning. The Elvis slider on a chocolate waffle was superb and my husband’s breakfast one on the blueberry waffle was excellent. Blueberry cheesecake slice was generously sized and yummy. Bourbon balls definitely had bourbon in them. Overall it was great, don’t let the location throw you off. We will be back to try numerous other sliders as the selections were abundant.

Sunset Waffles is not your average food experience. My son and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and wanted to buy a dessert but they are cash only and all I had was my debit card. The owners, Michelle and Fred gave us a couple desserts and a side anyway! We promised to come back for dinner one eve. We came back this eve with the whole fam and thoroughly enjoyed their friendly and laid back atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re on the beach. We played a few card games that they had available while we waited for our food. Their waffle slider creations are savory and hit the spot! So glad we found them…you won’t be disappointed in their service or their food!

Okay, where do I start?? We drove from Indy, which takes around 45 minutes from our home. And let me tell you, every minute of the drive was worth it. But first of all, don’t be discouraged by the look of the location because the food is amazing! I got the BLT (with herbs waffle) with avocado mayo and my partner got the Sunrise (with blueberry waffle) that comes with pure maple syrup on the side. Each bite was so delicious, and you could taste the love in the food. One of the owners, Michelle, was incredibly sweet and made us feel so comfortable. We are definitely coming back to try different ones and some of the desserts as well. I will be looking forward to it!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Sunset Waffles. We were in Anderson for the solar eclipse, and we had scoped out this place in advance. We were lucky to get there on Sunday evening before they closed. The owners are so sweet, and the food was AMAZING. I had the Elvis (the chocolate waffle was the perfect choice) and my boyfriend had the Sunrise. Both phenomenal. We’re only sad they won’t be open for the remainder of our time in Anderson, or we’d definitely be back!
