This place does not just have the BEST view ever, this place has it All! There is no better service than you receive here. They are attentive to your every need. They are always happy, smiling and happy to help with anything you need. There was a great menu with plenty to choose from. The proportions are HUGE let me tell you. Did I mention the BEST view…….this place overlooks the grounds of the Inn with layers and layers of walking trails, mountains, spa, pools and golf course. I had the lobster salad and it was enough to feed about three people and it was SO delicious. My friend got the crab roll sandwich and it was so big she had to give up the bun half way through and it was delicious with a brussel sprout Cole slaw (which I had never heard of) it was warm when we were there but I did see the biggest heaters I have ever seen at an outdoor restaurant so I am sure it is absolutely beautiful sitting out there when it is cool outside. This place surely will not disappoint you, you need to make a trip and see for yourself!

We stopped by for drinks and to scout out The Grove Park Inn for a girl’s Spa/retreat. Absolutely beautiful grounds with lovely nooks for group viewing. The spa was beautiful from what we saw, however we did not get a tour. It was a fabulous way to end our Ashville stay.

We celebrated our 36th anniversary recently. We loved our table on the Sunset Terrace. We enjoyed meeting our waitress Alex. She was very helpful with menu items. We enjoyed our cocktails, crab cake appetizer, tomato and onion salad, entrees, and the dessert they shared with us. We hope to come back next time we are in Asheville.

Probably one the most scenic views from a restaurant table we’ve ever had except maybe for Latitudes on Sunset Key in Key West, Florida. The menu was limited because they literally had just reopened for the season the night we were there, but despite that, everything we ordered was great. We would definitely do this place again, but unfortunately they’re only open for a limited time during the year and I suspect our next visit to the area will be during a time they’ll be closed for the season.

Two girlfriends and I went for dinner and the sunset. We couldn’t really see the sunset because it was behind the wing of the hotel. I had salmon. It was a good size serving but was a tad over cooked. One friend had the trout which she said was delicious. The other had shrimp scampi and said it was very good. I did have a great drink. Probably would not go back as I thought it was a little pricey.

Everytime I’m in Asheville to visit my daughter I have to come here. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are just stunning and being able to see the Sunset at this restaurant is just a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely pricey but worth it for the views and food we ordered was delicious.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here.(Shrimp scampi, seared scallops with side of asparagus) Cocktails were perfectly made, service was exceptional, and food incredible. The weather was incredible and view was picture perfect with mountains and Asheville skyline in distance. We weren’t celebrating anything in particular, but would be a great place for special occasions. Dress varied from semi formal to shirts and T-shirt.
