So good! Gluten and dairy free!! Confused as to why this place is not busy like the other shops. We were here for the weekend and had it this past Thursday ans Friday and it was so good, light refreshing and it’s not really a slushy it’s more like a creamy Italian ice but it’s dairy free! They had one or 2 flavors with milk and they also sold Blue bell ice cream flavors. 10/10 recommend

I absolutely love Sunset Slush. No other Italian Ice can compare. I look forward every year to the carts rolling down the beach. Such a refreshing treat to beat the heat. I was fortunate enough to get one everyday while on vacation this year. Your crew was so friendly and I made sure to tip them well all week. See you next year.

I must brag on an employee named Mannix. He was standing by his cart at the curve onto 58th St SE, Oak Island, when my sisters and I were trying to get a rolling walker through the sand. He insisted on carrying it for us onto the beach. The next day on the beach, my sister wanted to give him money for helping us. He refused. You have a wonderful employee in Mannix, full of integrity and kindness. My sister loved the Blue Vanilla flavor, too.

Need more staff when you have 40 to 50 people standing around in the summertime in the middle of the day and you only have two employees working and it takes 25 minutes to get a slushie. That is insane

Two teenage boys behind the counter of a generic shaved ice stall. A memorable stop for kids but not the best sweets on the island. If you specifically love ice treats, you will be satisfied. Prices are fair. Hardly ever lines and parking is suitable.

Plenty of options from ice cream to water ice (as we NJ/PHILLY call it). I enjoyed the banana pudding ice cream with vanilla wafers in it & my bestie enjoyed her Chocolate water ice (since she lives in TN) and lots of candy options which reminded us of the old penny candy store we would visit as kids. Fudge too, I brought back chocolate, vanilla & chocolate & vanilla maple. They were eaten in 1 day by family. If I lived in Oak Island Sunset slush would be 1 of my regular stops.

I went here tonight to spend time with my daughter and unfortunately we had an awful experience. pieces of plastic were in our Italian ice, and it was not even that good. The two teenage girls working were border line passive aggressive, and rude. don’t recommend going here, don’t waste your money
