I had really high hopes for this brisket grilled cheese. Is it my fault for having high hopes? When IO got inside they said it was a brisket grilled cheese slider so I considered getting a slider and a brisket sandwich. I’m extremely happy I did not get both. I got two sliders, $4 each. Yes, that is a potato roll. I do love potato rolls. The sauce that was on the little bit of brisket was very good. Other than that I was very disappointed.

It was ok. They got the order messed up but I ate and anyways, and what I did was good. But I ordered pulled pork, and got pork ribs. The bushel of crabs were good. And my friend said hers was good but she ordered it hot & all that was added was Tabasco & that just takes the flavor away and adds heat.

An excellent restaurant, so good I had to go there twice during my four day stay here. The blue crabs were fantastic , the barbeque superb. All were served by Mr. And Mrs. Jenkins, who seem to own the place. When we first arrived, I was slightly disappointed that they served no beer, but Mrs. Jenkins directed us next store to the liquor store, explaining that we could bring in anything we wanted to drink with our meal. If you like steamed crabs or smoked meat, do not miss this establishment.

Doesn’t seem like much from the outside, we decided to stop per the great reviews. We were greeted very warmly and felt right at home when we walked in. We got delicious pulled pork and brisket sandwiches (the hot is REALLY hot) and the baked mac and cheese. Mr. Taylor came and sat with us (he made the food). For 83 and a half, he is hilarious and was a great conversation. Can’t wait to go back one day.

Mom and Pop shops need all the business they can get right now! These folks are fighting the good fight, they had to close the restaurant but put their food truck in the parking lot and have outdoor dining. The food is homemade and absolutely delicious!! Their prices are fair and the portions are large! Go get you some crabs, brisket, or fish today!!

Food was excellent and served quickly. My wife and I enjoyed the pulled pork, brisket and chicken legs for lunch and fried shrimp to go (will have that for dinner).Traveling from Virginia, the location couldn’t have been any better. Off and back on highway in minutes.

This place should Not be in business! I ordered the rib platter (potato salad and cabbage)with a side of shrimp. Do Not Waste Your Money Or Time! It’s dirty and the health inspector Needs to visit this trash dump. I should’ve made a better decision. Whoever the owners are the need to invest in their younger family members that understand business and culinary to take over. The atmosphere is itchy best way to describe. Owners, DO BETTER PLEASE.
