I liked this place. A nice mix of both Middle Eastern items and classic pizza shop items. I decided to try a bit from both of the menus. So, I ordered a create your own calzone with just the classic cheese and sauce as well as the homemade baklava.
The calzone was just OK. Nothing too special. It had the cheese in chunks which made for a slightly strange texture. However, the flavor itself wasn’t bad. It seems like they use a variety of different cheeses for their calzone. A tad on the soggy side as well but not bad. Would rather stick the the Middle Eastern menu more.
The baklava, however, was very good. I enjoyed that it seemed homemade and fresh. It’s made with pistachios and isn’t overwhelmingly sweet but has just enough sweetness to make it delightful.
All in all, a nice spot. Decent pizza and calzones, and really good baklava. Try it!

Food is not good. Pizza is actually bread sticks, they put absolutely NO SAUCE on their “pizzas”
Delivery takes a minimum of an hour, always. Good prices for cheap food.

we recently moved to the area and going through other reviews i decided to give this restaurant a chance for pizza. the pizza was perfect! no too saucy, the cheese was right on and the bread is on the thinner side which is top tier since we do not like a thick breading. the jalapeño poppers were also so so good! i believe i ordered again but i tried the cheesy bread sticks, those were also good! we will for sure keep ordering and trying different items
every delivery order we’ve had theyre quick to answer, get the order in, and try to get deliver as soon as possible – they have delivered before the estimated arrival (which we all know is a love language lol)

Just want to start by saying thanks for Orhan and Hakan for the invite down to dinner. The food was incredible my wife and I throughly enjoyed everything. We had the sunset pizza (delicious) the Borek (light and fluffy) and my wife wanted a gyro which she loved. We will definitely be back and thank you guys again !

As I suspected, the CS issue turned out to be miscommunication on Slice’s behalf. I’m happy to report that Sunset’s own CS reached out directly and rectified the issue. The food itself is really tasty and made of quality ingredients.

Falsely claimed they delivered a whole 16” hoagie when it was only 8”. All I wanted was the price difference, but it turned into an absolute nightmare going back and forth with Slice customer service.

Their wings are good but they’re not on Grubhub menu. I have complained about this to them twice but no results.
I called them to pay for the wings over the phone so it could be added to my GrubHub order and they said I’ll have to ask Grubhub to add the wings to my order. First of all, why would GrubHub add items to my order? And even if they are willing to do so, how can they add an item that’s not on your menu? So, taking one star down for not solving the issue.
On another note, their Lamb wrap used to be so good. Now, it’s so bad..

2) Baklava – Turkish dessert – really awesome! The taste is authentic and is exactly what I had in Istanbul. It tastes better with vanilla ice cream.
3) Garlic fresh jumbo wings – these are dipped in garlic sauce and are not just dry wings
**They messed up my Grubhub order a little but I’m happy with the taste of their food which is why I rated 4 stars. Will definitely try more items from their menu.

everything I’ve tried so far is fantastic. I suggest you try one of their authentic dishes/recipes. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad with their house dressing, which is homemade daily and is to die for. Honestly have not had anything not to my liking, but another suggest is any of their homemade soups, desserts or Turkish dishes. cooked to perfection. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this place, its seriously a diamond right here in Carnegie.
