This place has a simplistic organic charm. The counter service gives a vintage vibe. I’ve enjoyed the curry chicken, doubles, rice, potatoes and veggies. The duck, oxtail & pumpkin roti are on my list to taste. Overall, a decent bang for your buck.

I went here while visiting Florida. The service was ok. The owner seemed very busy and could use some help at the counter as she was cooking and cashing people out. The food was ok it tasted rushed. I had the chowmin and fried fish. My husband had the brown stew chicken he said it was rubbery, but the fried rice was good.

The food is good real authentic Trinidad food. The service is good as well people who are complaining about the lady up front need to just be patient she is cooking and taking orders and has a great attitude I have been there 3 times and will continue to come everytime I am in town and it is always a pleasure to shoot the breeze with her and her husband good people.

Your fellow Trini brother

Came to buy meat..decided to have an early lunch…Asked for a chicken roti with lots of pepper and was expecting for it to be in a dhalpuri shell and it wasn’t. For $10 it could be a larger roti… NO pepper was added… however the curry chicken was ok…the roti skin..so so

They cant make doubles… dont bother to order it.. sorry to be blunt about the doubles..the bara was so stiff like sada and when i opened the wrapper, all the channa rolled out of it literally…

The roti shell was very good. The inside curry chicken was “eh,” but I’m partial to a certain masala flavor- which is more on the Carribean-Indian than Jamaican side. The pelouri balls were delicious and I loved the sauce they served with it.
I think I’d like to try more of their Jamaican food when I go back. They have a great selection, and were very friendly.

Look no further for authentic Guyanese food. Love that I don’t need to explain the difference between roti and puri when I go here. Best roti in Broward County. The staff is amazingly attentive and courteous and they serve you promptly. So happy I found this gem.

I call and place my order the lady hangs up doesn’t give a price afterwards. Fine. I call back ask for the total and let them know I’m on my way to pick up. (A different lady answers) I get there. Wasn’t greeted only got stares for the first couple minutes.
They finally speak. Come to find out they never made the order and the lady begins debating me in front of two other customers on how I only asked the total not to make the order? I’m like no worries I’ll wait for the food.

She says 2mins. Fast service!! I ordered a roti and double. As I’m paying I realize the roti was cold. Maybe just the skin. Wrong I leave and find out the inside is cold too! And tasted flavorless with the exception of curry. Very disappointing. I try the double. Horrible ! Not fresh at all. And the taste. Didn’t taste like the doubles I know. I gave it 2 because the roti was a good size. Other than that.. waste of money.

Not happy at all, a few weeks ago I use to get the lunch specials Oxtails and paid 10.00 for my meal. I use to get at lease 4 pieces of Oxtails, Now I had to pay 15.00 for 3 lil pieces, they covered the rice with gravy to make you think that you have alot, never again I will go there. If I can give the a 0 I would. Bad service.

This is where I go to get my curry fix. The best roti in Pembroke Pines. There is a supermarket in the back. I usually get some fresh produce and herbal teas. I’m also able to get “blue” to wash my white clothes. The best.
