Delicious!
We stopped in here after going to the farm down the road… So worth it. The burgers happened to be on special on Thursdays so we both got one and we could not stop saying “yum” throughout the meal. We got duck wontons and they were sooooo good.
The lettuce and tomato on the burger were so fresh, cold, and crisp. The garlic mayo is so delicious. If I’m ever in the area in the future, this will be my spot.

If you’re looking for a nice small town bar on the water this is it. We had driven up to the lake for boating with friends and stopped after for some food. Bartender Megan was very nice. It was quiet when we arrived with only about 8 customers there. One of the “regulars” bought the bar a round of drinks even though he had no idea who we were. Quesadilla that we had was very good. Should’ve tried the burgers but didn’t see it was half price burgers until we had already ordered. The place was clean and orderly 10/10 would recommend

This place is a joke, ive been coming here for 3 years and today they tell me i cant use my fiances card because its a girls card and im a male. First you didnt even check my id and evn though i am a male you have no idea how i identify so tell me how you can decide its not my card based on gender? On top of that the guy working was rude even when i put my order in like he didnt want to buisness. I will never eat at or go to this place again.

Ordered food to go for our office. Most of the food was very good, but the two Highway to Heaven burgers were shit! To be fair I have had this burger before and it was terrific. This time not so much. We asked for medium and we both got a burnt well done dry burger. Neither of the burgers had lettuce, tomato & onion on them even though the menu says it comes on the burger. The portion of bacon & brisket was comical. A mere 1/2 slice of brisket and one piece of bacon cut in half and laid next to each other. For $16 I would expect a little better.

After playing some cardboard Crack and hitting the $250, i felt like an annoyance being there. I am habitual player of these and played a decent amount and finally hit the big one. The bartender seemed more annoyed than anything. Actually whipping it at the other bartender, who i assume was done for his shift… I bartend as well, and always appreciate those who play and congratulate them on winning.
With us getting a boat this year, we were eager for a place to stop time to time after being out, this might be a 1 and done stop for us. Given the location and a tourist spot for the summer, I expected a more welcoming atmosphere and more pleasant bartenders.

People, service and food are top notch. Hats off to the chef – the menu may seem straight forward, but the flavors are superb. Everything is fresh, right down the homemade potato chips. Outdoor atmosphere by the water is always peaceful, inside decor could use an update, but is still warm and inviting.

As a guest service trainer, I cannot recommend this place. First, they’re expensive compared to local joints, two 3-piece fish dinners is $36. Ordered carry out and when I arrived I was treated like I didn’t matter. When I tried to ask for extra tarter I was ignored. Finally when I got home, they forgot my coleslaw and only offered to give me my coleslaw if I came back and nothing for the inconvenience. When I mentioned if they could include an extra piece of fish for the inconvenience, they said “no, we don’t have enough fish to just give away.”
I recommend you steer clear of this place. With so many other options, they fail in price, quality, customer service, and customer service recovery. I recommend Prairie House who have excellent fish, Vintage, or even Fish Tales, all who have fish fry of comparable quality for less money and way less issues.
