Busy place during lunch but the service never flounder. The servers worked as a team. Coffees were refilled and food came out looking amazing. I had the club sandwich with onion rings. It was delicious! I’d love to go back and try other dishes.

I went in at a pretty busy time of day, but that didn’t stop the waitress from making sure I was seen, dining alone. She checked on me often, communicated with me when there was a hold up on one of the items I ordered, and was just plain pleasant even though she was very obviously being pulled in many different directions. I ordered the corned beef hash, highly recommend. It was delicious. And the prices were very reasonable.

Sooo homey! I first went here when the owner (Liz), was a server.! My kid was in a basket. He’s all grown now and I still go to the Sunset often. Its just plain ol’ diner food and good people. There’s a bar in that back that always welcomes a stranger’s conversation. The bartenders are all lovely.
Sundays mornings after church can be packed. Otherwise, easy parking and seating. 2 thumbs up for the Sunset hash and the country fried steak!!!
Btw, looking through Google I see just the main part of the menu mostly. There’s more pages. Lots of variety.

Absolutely loved this place! The servers here were extremely friendly and attentive. The food itself was amazing, and the whole atmosphere was homey and gave off a “small town” vibe. Highly recommend this gem!

This is my favorite diner in Gig Harbor. Food is delicious and super consistent. Wait staff is incredible friendly and remember you visit to visit. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here and have tried most of the menu! Thick and crispy bacon along with stellar pancakes are the best!

My friend was having a bad day, all she wanted was pancakes. We work here in Gig Harbor so I just Googled pancakes near me. This was one choice and let me tell it was a good one! I am so happy I decided to give this place a try. I ordered over the phone, the lady was friendly and helpful I think her name was Lorie? I will have to verify and update tomorrow when I find out for sure. The portions are great, prices fair, and delicious. I will be ordering here again. The food was separated with foil so the eggs, hash browns, bacon and pancakes are separated. So good!

Food is good. A little over on my poached eggs and I wish the homefries had onions or something to flavor them up. But it is quality food and has been good the few times we have eaten here. I wish the restaurant didn’t have so much vintage decore since that stuff is dangerous for children and really shouldn’t be around food.

The service was very appropriate for comfort dining, friendly people and nice clean seating. I have the notion that requests are not always adhered to. My party was delivered quality on foods w/o changes. For me I did not experience that. I asked for a well done burger absolutely no pink. As well as an additional over medium egg. I received a burger with pink. A extremely soft cooked egg. I did not like final product because of the manner which it was handled. Flavor profile is promising with good fries. But because they can’t cook a egg to request I was thoroughly disappointed. I did finish my meal they season their food appropriately.

This was our first time here. It’s a simple looking dinner with a bar lounge. Our service was good and the food was good too. I got a French dip and my girlfriend got soup and salad. Also, got 3 cheese beard for an appetizer. For dessert, we got banana cream pie, which I think is better than Shari’s banana cream. Over all, everything was great! Definitely don’t mind coming here again to try something new.
