We stopped after a long day on the road. We were a little worried with so few options in the are but the food was great and came out incredibly fast! I would recommend it to any traveler needing a quick stop.

The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the service was prompt and the waitress did a good job. The food was just okay, but expensive. I had two eggs scrambled, hash browns and bacon, my husband had an omelet with toast, we did not order any side dishes. I took photos for reference. I ordered ice tea – green tea and it was sweetened (I wasn’t told it was sweet) and was some of the nastiest tasting sweet tea and expensive at $4/glass. On the final tab they added a second beverage, which we didn’t order and added an, unannounced, 4% service charge on top of everything including the sales tax (a tax on a tax). Breakfast for two was almost $40!

Pleasantly surprised. We all got cheese burgers and cheese fries. I’ll be honest, I was a little worried when we first walked in, but the food was great!

The atmosphere was fine. The food was way too expensive for the amount of food offered. The shrimp and fries was $17.99 for maybe 10 shrimp and a small amount of fries. We added onion rings that was another $6.19. Pretty pricey for a casual grill environment. With all this said, the food was not great but not bad either.

Food was good, I had the Philly which was tasty, not incredible, but good. My wife had broasted chicken which she said wasn’t real hot as she said they took it from the “to-go” thing up at the counter, but tasted good. Fries were crispy and delicious. Service was good, friendly young gal.

The pressure fried chicken (known as boasted in the Midwest) was extremely good. The gravy on the potatoes was a bit pasty for my taste, but was alright. Food sat in the kitchen window and got cooled off, but there was a notice that service is could be slow due to a shortage of workers. So we need to cut some slack for the waitress. Overall, a good meal in a family style restaurant.

We got takeout on our road trip and it was hot and wonderful. The fries were my favorite part! Tasted like the best diner fries. We got the deluxe cheese burger and patty melt- both filling and well-made.

We had breakfast after a very nice stay at Grandpa Joe’s Place hotel and it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was excellent. We had the western omelet, a pancake, hashbrowns, toast, orange juice and coffee. We’ll add Sunset Grill to our trip if we travel this way again.

The waitress was rude and very impolite. Beside the terrible service the food tasted funny. When we took a better look, we saw that the beef meat was green! (Fyi: there were no vegetables what made the meat green.)
After we told the waitress, the chef just checked his beef in his freezer and concluded it wasn’t his fault. The waitress also didn’t care.
After a terrible service and spoiled food we can easily conclude this restaurant has to be checked by the department of health since the food is damage to your own health
