I would have to go four and a half stars. They were out of a couple of items, but that doesn’t affect that half star. I just didn’t care for the breading on the shrimp and the wings (cornmeal). But I realize that’s a matter of personal taste. The flavor was good, not oversalted. This facility was clean, bathrooms clean, you can see the kitchen! So you don’t have to worry about contamination so to speak. The manager there was doing double and triple duty, and I can’t blame him for being a little stressed. All in all, I would go back there. Believe me if I don’t care for it I’m not going to go again. I’ll post some pictures, but I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility.

I tore through that 4 pc combo like a pro.
Skin was crispy, just salty enough, and didnt leave me in a mess.
The taters were made with real ingredients. The gibblet gravy had just enough kick to make you finish them up.
Hawaiian roll and a drink to finish.
Didn’t charge anymore or less than anywhere else. But the chicken was well worth it, and WELL worth a try.
I will be back to try many other options on the menu.
The service was above and beyond. Greeted at the door, everyone was welcoming. They have lots of tvs and is sport related. The whole place has been fully cleaned and what didnt work before, was gone and in its place, a far better product, and presentation.

PERCH & SHRIMP?! ARE YOU SERIOUS? To the DUMP to the DUMP to the DUMP DUMP DUMP! This meal did nothing but cause anger, confusion, and sadness. Anger because we spent over $17! Confusion because what in the world is this garbage? Sadness because this was the saddest meal I have ever witnessed….yes witnessed! They should literally be ashamed of themselves for serving this spectacle passed off as a meal. Don’t have to ever worry about me!!! Where is the YUCK rating?! Though we didn’t even ask for a refund HOW DARE ONE NOT BE OFFERED! Let me add, the owner was nice and receptive to feedback, service was not an issue and the restaurant was clean.

I eat here twice to 3 times a week. The fish and chicken is just as good if not better than I’ve had anywhere. I eat out everyday. I see a couple other reviews talking about the chicken under cooked, my advice to you would be learn to order your food the way you like it. Tell them you want it well done or cooked hard. If you haven’t tried this place out you have to give it a try.

I know the owner, the owner would stop by at my workplace and recommend us to try his restaurant. I was very fortunate enough to try sunset chicken this evening. Their chicken wings are delicious, the fries are scrumptious, and the gravy is out of this world. Everyone should try this place, and give it a chance.

I had The Chicken Philly, Onion rings, Chicken, coleslaw, and my daughter wanted 2 pieces of Bacon. Ordered 10 wings and everything was good until I realized I didn’t have any fries. Called back and she said that “I just ordered chicken”. In my 37 years of living, I’ve never ordered chicken from a restaurant and it didn’t come with fries. Guess it’s my fault for assuming but again, who buys just wings lol. Really turned me off from the food….

Today I enjoyed the Sunday dinner that consisted of Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Greens with a side of Okra. When I tell you I enjoyed every bite….OMG I did. My only issue was a missed opportunity for more because they close at 5:00pm. The next time Pot Roast is served I’m in the building.
