We went here for lunch. The service was great. We had a few drinks that were made well. We ordered the appetizer nachos and quickly realized it could easily be a full meal, lol. We also ordered some chicken tacos. All the food was great and you get a lot of food for the money! Definitely eat here, they are relatively quick and a great bang for the buck.

We’re a vegan family and we so appreciated the menu at Sunset Cantina! It was a convenient stop during runs and a welcome break. Cameron was a lovely server who made an effort to make us feel at home. We had the tofu tacos and taco salad. The rice and beans were great, too. Thanks, Sunset Cantina. ☀️

Food was meh. So weird others mention the rice because we complained too, it was inedible! Who can’t cook rice? And no sour cream- it was liquid like milk. The $17 margarita was so sour and weak I’m not sure it was actually Patron. And was bitter. Waiter was nice but slow. Never again.

It was really busy when we put our name down but the hostess was communicating to us just where we were at in the queue. Our server was also amazing and kind. Jimena was great to us. We also got some uncommon drink recommendations from Arland and we all loved it. Great drinks and great foods. Definitely coming back

I never leave reviews and I am going to be so honest. Paying or chips and a TINY bowl of salsa is wild. We asked for a re fill and they brought a bowl half the size as the original which fed 2 of our 14 people. If you are serving that many people use context clues and bring a good amount of salsa out. The food was truly terrible we got half the menu and the only thing people enjoyed was the burrito. The fajitas was burns and they brought HOT lettuce and a ball of melted cheese. The quesadilla tasted like rubber chicken and tasted absolutely nothing else. So many random meals brought to our table multiple times for no reason. So much miscommunication between the staff and kitchen. It’s not that hard to make small changes, we didn’t get water when we sat we had to ask and it arrived with our food? They brought the loaded nachos to the table but didn’t bring plates for everyone to share? These are small things that are common sense. So much can be fixed if better workflow was implemented. If a server is not ready for a table why set them. It was very busy which we understood but the food itself was trash.

Horrible Service, Tasteless Food – Felt Like Robbery
This place was recommended to us after a long day of skiing, so we were starving and excited for some Mexican food to refuel. What a huge letdown, we left feeling straight-up robbed after shelling out right under $100 before tip for bland, tasteless food and awful service.
We started with chips and queso, supposed to be a safe bet, right? Wrong. The queso tasted exactly like the cheap jar from Dollar General: watery, artificial, no real cheese flavor, zero spice or depth. It was mediocre at best and definitely didn’t justify any part of the insane price tag.
Then the mains: The kids’ four tacos were grossly overpriced and bland as a piece of plain white bread. No spice, no flavor, no nothing—just sad tortillas with filling that tasted like cardboard. My quesadilla? Same issue: basically cheese in a tortilla with zero taste or excitement—if it wasn’t for the black beans, there would be zero taste at all. My wife’s bowl was equally disappointing—no seasoning, no kick, just boring.
We had water to drink (my wife had one cocktail), no fancy extras. For all that—chips/queso, four kids’ tacos, one quesadilla, one bowl—we paid right under $100 before tip. Are you kidding me? I could’ve bought hamburger meat, fresh tortillas, real cheese, salsa, and made way better food at home without wasting money or dealing with this nonsense.
And the service? Horrible. Our server was MIA the whole time, barely checked on us, took forever, and acted like we were bothering him. Felt neglected on top of everything else.
The food had no taste at all. Mexican food should be bold and flavorful—this was the opposite: bland, boring, overpriced, and poorly served.
Save your money and skip this place. Cook at home or hit a real taqueria that actually delivers flavor and decent service. This spot is a complete waste—left us hungry, mad, and out nearly $100 for nothing. 0/10, never again.

I’ll start with the finisher; the churros with Seasoned orange slices finish were on point. The food was quick, the seasoned. chips were worth it alone. But the street tacos were for us, they did not disappoint in flavor and ingredients.

Have a seat, have a chat (staff were very friendly), and fill your bellies at Sunset Cantina; you will love it.

Don’t be fooled by old reviews or the rating! Great place to eat at Snowshoe. The food was delicious and portions were large. Reagan was wonderful as a bartender and good conversations and atmosphere. Only downside is there’s no WiFi in the place. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Dude this rocked. We had the loaded nachos carnitas and my kid had the quesadilla.

The nachos were really good. Great flavors, not just any ol’ chips and cheese.

My kid loved his quesadilla, and it came with sour cream and salsa.

They even had coffee and hot cocoa for a super chilly day.

Amazing service with a smile. A bit slower because they were short staffed (because of the giant snowstorm) but the guy up front warned everyone as they walked in, so our expectations were set right and we had a great time.
