Came for their 4th annual Christmas Fair. Didn’t know what to expect, so was amazed at what I found. Dozens of vendors, excellent food and amazing prices. Found several great gifts for the family that didn’t come close to breaking the bank. Music, monster truck rides with Santa, and excellent parking. A few ruts if you are in a wheelchair, but for a farm it is amazingly all age and mobility friendly. I highly recommend the main farm shop for fresh veggies, local meat, honey and gifts. Can’t wait to come back for more events.

First time trying the food here , pretty good ! Cheesesteak is 8.5 delicious ! The chicken salad I give a 6.2 – very dry and lacking flavor probably won’t get that again. I’ll definitely be back for the cheesesteak and the strawberry milkshake (fresh strawberries are in it )

Sensational Farms is a hidden gem in Umatilla! I visit frequently with my kids, and it’s always such a wholesome, refreshing experience. They offer incredible fresh produce, quality meats, and some of the best healthy drinks I’ve ever found locally. The staff is always kind, helpful, and polite—I’ve never had a single bad experience here.
Their garden area is absolutely beautiful, and there’s always something fun going on, especially during the holidays. It’s a perfect family day trip if you’re looking for something outdoorsy, local, and good for the soul. ✨
One small note: they’re closed on Mondays (which I always forget ), but trust me—it’s 100% worth planning around that. This is one of those places that makes you feel good about supporting local. Highly recommend!

The food truck used to have high quality chicken sandwiches.
This is no longer the case. If you got a chicken sandwich from Sunsational 6 months ago you’d get an exceptional item that matched the photo.
Now the chicken is much smaller and the breading is a lot different. They have not been crispy and the chicken has been rather oily. I’d be willing to say that they may even have gone from fresh chicken to Sysco.
As well as the price has stayed the same at $9.50. That’s is $9.50 with no drink or side. Which is fine when it was as advertised before.
This is not a 1 off experience. Since the New Year it has been definitively different. Not to also mention the chicken salad which used to have pieces of fresh, friend chicken breast. Now it is a lot closer to school popcorn chicken.
If the prices need to change to keep the quality, just say that. If quality is lowering to keep the price the same, just say that.
I have heard similar sentiments from those I know who have enjoyed the food truck. They are also, for now, not ordering.
I hope to see this change! I loved the food and would just like to see it back. Unless that changes though, I’d change the photo for the chicken sandwich. It’s false advertising.

Today was a tough day here. I ordered the special soft creamsicle and a soft chocolate/vanilla twist. The creamsicle cost $3.50 for a “small” and that is what you received. There was approximately 2” of ice cream above the lip of the cone. I would say that was a “baby” size. It tasted good but I would have hoped that you received more product. The twist was a “regular” and it was almost volcanic compared to the creamsicle, about 5” tall and cost $4.50. Unfortunately the twist was not creamy and tasted like frozen ice. Sad.

Sensational Farms holds some amazing events with awesome vendors and food trucks. My favorite was “It’s in the DNA Coffee” truck. ☕️ ❤️ They have fabulous tasting all natural coffees, and if you don’t drink coffee, they have several other options like their amazing refreshers. The pretzel truck brings the all-time favorites from Amish country Lancaster, PA. The farm provides so many great products and fresh produce. Of course, I had to have one of their amazing milkshakes. This was a great way to bring in local entrepreneurs and support our local community and businesses.

This place is the best food around. Cheesesteaks amazing. My wife and our friends had burgers. Said they were so juicy they did not even need sauce. The pineapple shake is a must try. Banana is great as well but the pineapple has soft pieces of fruit that are easy to get through the super fat straw.

I learned about this place during a farm tour through the Lake County Extension office. It is beautiful. The people are friendly, the store is lovely, and it’s an all-around beautiful experience. Just try to avoid the occasional ant piles, lol. The play areas for the kids is cute as well. I must come back and bring the family. Oh, and the ice cream is very delicious as well!!! There’s even a food truck if you’re feeling peckish. Highly recommend!

I came here for the first time after seeing Sunsational Farms listed several times on the best of the best Lake County, for everything from ice cream to gift shops. I absolutely love the big orange out front! I got the Pistachio ice cream, and cut some sunflowers as well. I saw the bee keeper out with the bees, the girls working are very nice and helpful, and I love all of the citrus decor. Even an orange table! The entire place (bathrooms included) is kept very clean, and there is hand sanitizer everywhere. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably-priced; I honestly can’t wait to try other flavors, which I was informed changes weekly. The sunflowers are very pretty, and I’m also including a picture of the ones I cut and brought home. The sunflowers are only $1.00 a piece, and they even provide you with garden shears to cut them with. The breeze was amazing as a storm was coming in. There are lots of play houses for kids, picnic tables, rocking chairs. I definitely recommend and will be back soon!
