Ran in for a short stack of pancakes and bacon and a cup of coffee while my husband was in surgery nearby. Not only are they quick, they are very nice, and the food is tasty. Even the coffee at 1p is good!

My grandparents have been going here since I can remember. I stop by every once in a while to have some Spanish breakfast/lunch nearby. It’s delicious! I recommend the arroz con pollo as I always get it. Super delicious and filling !

Very bad experience. The waitress (a woman with short, dyed blonde hair) didn’t seem to want to serve us. When we were ordering our food, she made disgusted expressions. And be careful if you forget something there, especially if it’s something valuable. The same people who work there grab things you forget, unless it’s not worth much.

This luncheonette has been is this same location and under the same name since I was in high school (55 years ago) and probably before.
The ownership and menus have changed over the years but it remains a great place to grab some great food at reasonable prices.
I stopped by today while out on a walk and went for the Juevos Rancheros one of my favorites, and it was perfect. Paired with a great cup of coffee it was the perfect way to start my day.

7/4/19 – I’d give this place zero stars if I could. My wife and I were treated very rudely. I never bring up race in my reviews (feel free to read all of my prior reviews) but I have to wonder why we were ignored. My wife and I both believe it was because of our race. Our food was literally dropped on our table by the owner who didn’t even look at us (no exaggeration, his head was turned away). There was no follow-up visit to check on us. Other customers were treated better.
And, the worst part… an employee working behind the counter was slicing and handling meat without gloves. Yuk.
WE WILL NOT RETURN.
