We enjoyed everything about our breakfast at Sunrise & Main! We were greeted right away and able to get a table in a comfy booth. The owner Marco made his rounds as well and was a pleasure to speak with. He was sincere in making sure it was all we expected it to be. The breakfast burrito is amazing with their fresh homemade salsa, and their eggs Benedict was right on point. It all went perfectly with the fresh squeezed orange juice. If you’re looking for a fresh meal with good service, this is the place!

Was a little bummed they’d run out of the potato soup, but everything else was super good! Our server was super sweet and nice, and the environment was very inviting. This is such a cute place to go grab breakfast or brunch, and I’d def recommend

Extremely nice place. Second day open. Owner Marco has done a fantastic job remodeling this restaurant into a bright, cheery, and welcoming establishment. The waitstaff was very friendly. I ordered the farmhouse sunrise skillet, which was quite good. Coffee was good quality. They do serve alcohol – mimosas, bloody marys, etc. I think this place is a very nice addition to downtown Ball Ground, and I wish them all the best of luck.

I thought I would try this (fairly) new restaurant in Ball Ground for breakfast this morning. I was the first customer of the day. The waitress was friendly and attentive, with a nice smile. My coffee, while probably in a smaller cup than other restaurants, was never empty. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I will have to say, I believe this was the best Eggs Benedict in Ball Ground. Then again, it’s probably the ONLY Eggs Benedict in Ball Ground. The atmosphere was soothing to me. Not the loud, random Juke Box of WH, but a more smooth, easy listening background music. I hope to be back some day.

Had a classic Southern breakfast today at Sunrise on Main. biscuit and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs with cheese, plus cheesy grits. The gravy was flavorful and the biscuits were perfectly flaky. The grits were creamy and cheesy – a perfect start to the day!. Better half had egg Benedict and potatoes that was also good. Service was nice, Will come back again

Our waitress was Madison, very attentive. We had the biscuit & gravy w/cheesy eggs &grits & the Sausage & Egg plate (substituted ham for the sausage-should’ve stayed with sausage). Cheesy eggs&grits were awesome, gravy/biscuit was ok. Fried eggs&grits were great but the ham was deli sandwich ham, very thin fried, ok but not what was expected for breakfast.

Cute new restaurant in downtown Ball Ground. Family owned and super cute. We had an early breakfast and it was delicious. I got the French toast and a side biscuit with gravy to try and it was good. My husband got the breakfast bowl (not pictured because he devoured it). The white chocolate mocha was super good. I highly recommend! Support locally owned businesses to keep them open and thriving.

Stopped in for a late brunch on a Saturday in October. The decor was cute. The servers were very responsive and checked in often. We got biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, French toast, and potatoes and grits.

The Benedict was among the best I’ve had. Very rich and seasoned well. The potatoes were a welcome surprise. I’m used to overly fried or underwhelmingly roasted potatoes from brunch spots. These were fried in a very tasty batter that was well seasoned and were just crunchy enough without being too much.

These biscuits and gravy were good, though I could have used a little more seasoning and perhaps a little more sausage flavor in the gravy itself. The French toast wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked, but was still flavorful. The cheese grits were better than average. I would definitely drop in and give the Benedict and potatoes a try, as I will do next time I’m back in town.

Lived in Ball Ground for many years, and heard of this new restaurant. We tried it for lunch today and it was great. The manager and staff are very attentive and clearly care about providing a good experience and quality food. We will be back.

This is exactly the kind of business we want for our town and happy to have them. Support local / small business.

Sat at the bar by myself after instructed to seat myself by the girl at the door. Six minutes later, I’m acknowledged by someone who I’m assuming is my server asking if I’ve had my order taken yet. I haven’t even been given a menu at this point. He promptly grabs me a water and then disappears.

12 minutes later he comes to take my order, which he then passes off to another girl. They seem incredibly disorganized and no one seems to know who is in charge of what area. The man that wrote the glowing review today is sitting at the bar as well and must be in a different dimension than me because it’s been another 3 minutes and the girl that received my order handed off to her has come to ask what my order was again.

They’re busy and I know they recently opened, but you would think that’s when service would be at it’s best as they’re trying to put out their best first impression, but so far it isn’t working. There doesn’t seem to be anyone in particular actually waiting on anyone at the bar as I’ve now witnessed 3 different people take orders and it just seems to be whoever is currently there at that particular moment.

20 minutes later, received my food. It was ok, nothing special. Underneath my eggs I discovered what appeared to be pieces of green pepper or jalapeno. After nearly 45 minutes, I wasn’t about to send it back. I asked afterwards if anything in my order had green items in it and they said it didn’t, but assured me it was from the prep station and not a dirty plate. They did apologize, but that’s as far as it went.

Needless to say, I’d give this a hard pass. Save yourself 45 minutes and just go to Waffle House for faster service, same quality, less money.
