I was a little hesitant to try looking at some of the reviews. Glad I kept an open mind as the food and coffee were very good service was a little slow. We did get our beverages immediately, but then had to hunt down a server to take our order.
I had French toast and eggs and hubby had fried bologna, hash browns, eggs over easy and toast. He could not stop raving about his bologna.
Coffee was robust and flavorful, not your typical dineresque coffee. I prefer whipped cream to syrup and they provide a heap of it. Eggs were scrambled into a patty, different and really good.
Cute provincial wall mural. Nice and clean.
Lots of tables and counter seats, tvs at counter. All good. Recommend

Nothing fancy, but just good dine food. The only reason I gave service 4 stars is that it took longer than expected to get our food. Other than that, everything was fine.

I have been coming here since i moved here 9 years ago. I love the food the girls and the service. What I’m not happy about is it that i come certain days when I come as well as others do and we’re not seeing the staff we’re used to waiting on us??? The staff is always wonderful. Whoever is doing this new schedule or whatever should be fired!! They suck n you can tell the morale is down. However they continue to be the best. Please fix this.

Longtime loyal customer here, and this is the first time I’ve ever walked out of Sunrise feeling more sad than satisfied. The servers were phenomenal. Truly. Kind, attentive, and very obviously doing everything they could while food times were out of control. They are the only ones still holding this place together. What completely ruined the experience was the manager. I watched a server calmly and professionally try to resolve a guest issue, and instead of supporting her team or de-escalating the situation, the manager inserted herself and turned it into one of the most uncomfortable, unprofessional interactions I’ve witnessed in a restaurant. The entire dining room felt it. You could physically see the other servers tense up the second she got involved — and that is not respect, that is fear. That is not leadership. That is someone with a title and no business having it. Multiple tables were asking to speak to the owner and, shockingly, he’s “barely there.” That explains a lot. This place used to have heart. Now it feels like it’s on autopilot while the only people who care are the ones being treated like they’re replaceable. And opening another location was a decision that makes even less sense after seeing the new store. It is painfully obvious the staff there were not set up with the training or support they needed. No structure, no confidence, no direction — just expansion for the sake of saying you expanded. The food was fine. The service was incredible. The management is the reason this place is losing its soul. Sunrise used to be full of energy, laughter, and staff who looked proud to work there. Now they look stressed, anxious, and completely unappreciated — and loyal customers notice that. Fix the leadership, be present, and remember who built your reputation in the first place — because right now the only thing consistent about Sunrise is the decline.

It’s a little shabby, but it is full of charm and old Southern hospitality. The food makes you remember Granny’s kitchen and the staff treat you like you’re one of the cousins. I love it!

Burnt dog food I would go elsewhere. This place has terrible service and terrible food. Not sure what this even is and why you would even serve this trash.

I have to admit the breakfast food in Augusta is so good! I fell in love with their breakfast food! They make their eggs like a patty which is interesting but overall it was delicious! I’m from the Saint Louis area so I’m not used to a patty egg but it didn’t take away from the flavor! Customer service was top tier!

I ordered the make your own omelet. It came with grits and toast. I also had orange juice. My omelet had broccoli, tomato, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. I had cheddar cheese added to the grits. Everything was good.

Awesome place for all ages especially for elders.
Both my hubby and I really like this place! Super-B service and well lit atmosphere. The food was good. Although the potatoes looks like it was coated with flavor, it was bland. The biscuit was so soft. It’s hard to describe but this restaurant makes me feel safe and welcomed.
