Family owned, quiet morning spot, the people were super helpful, and the coffee. Best coffee I’ve had this trip. They have a nice covered area or a picnic table right next to the truck. Food was top notch as we got the avocado toast and the açaí bowl – banana. Perfect for the local morning coffee chill spot with the bamboo and woods to just relax and sip some coffee. I will be back with a book or maybe a crochet bag to relax and enjoy a slower morning. (They do make everything quick if you are in a hurry)

We pulled off here to grab a coffee on our way to Hanapepe. The lady was nice but not friendly. The actual spot is really cute. The menu was not extensive but had a good variety of flavors and goodies. My biggest drawback was that the coffee was not fresh. We ordered a couple iced breves and she had them done within a minute. They tasted good, not great and I feel that’s why. Also they were $9 a piece….which is spendy for pre-pulled coffee. If we pay $18 for coffees, we’re expecting a freshly pulled shot.
On a small island with a lot of coffee options I don’t feel this is one to stop at specifically, especially if you’re a coffee lover who enjoys fresh coffee.

I ordered a macadamia ice coffee and did not tasted great. Idk if it was old coffee the way it was prepared or the flavor they used. I took 2 sips and had to throw it away. I also ordered a churro donut which my son liked. Payed $14.40 for those 2 item. A lot of add-ons on the ice coffee when I payed. It was confusing as I had ordered from the regular menu latte menu. The place is nice but there are not bathrooms.

We just happened to drive by Sunrise Coffee whole looking for breakfast. I highly recommend the Monkey Toast-it was the best I had in Kauai. Quick service and delicious food. There are tables outside you can eat at as well.

Sunrise Coffee has been amazing. The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming, the coffee is on point, and the fun seasonal flavors are creative without being over the top. Bonus: the food is really good too. Such a great local spot.

Had seen this spot almost daily on the way in/out of Kapa’a and finally stopped in on our last day, the lady was cordial but I wouldn’t say friendly. The aesthetic is really cute and that’s what initially drew my attention to try it out.
Im usually a big Americano girl with a little honey and cinnamon (so not sweet) and decided to try a Lovers Brew (strawberry). It tasted good, sweet for my taste but I think if you like sweeter drinks you’d love it. It was also $9 for a medium, which is pricey in my opinion for a cold brew.
The island offers an abundance of options for coffee which I’m more likely to opt for in the future due to price/service.

We stopped here for an afternoon coffee on our recent trip to Kaua’i, the coffee was strong and flavorful. They have a cute little sitting area and an adorable cat that was sitting by the truck when we ordered. We will definitely be back! Mahalo for the great coffee.

Great little cafe outside of Lihue ! Serves some food, coffee & matcha. Outside and covered seating. Also has local handmade items you can buy. I love they are open early, even on a Sunday !

the espresso here is seriously next level. sooo good oh my god. strong fruit notes. my only complaint is some baristas here add the ice first, then pour the shots over the ice when making iced drinks. this noticeably dulls the espresso’s complexity. and the coffee is so good here, i really want to savor it every time
that’s all though! great service, great local coffee
