Great place to visit when you are coming to South Padre Island. Arrive early as pastries do sell out. There is a great selection of unique and Delicious Pastries which are a must have along side a delicious cup of coffee. All syrups for coffee are made in house. The staff is very passionate when explains their brewing process and are really friendly.

I came back here every day for my week long stay in SPI. You can see the bakers making all the things. The service is friendly and we’re so sweet to my kiddo who was loving all the food we bought. We tried the almond croissant, pistachio croissant, Italian bread sandwich breakfast goodness thing, banana bread, and cheese danish. Alll sooooo good. Their sandwiches and all the food is made day of. I can’t wait to try the scones next! Definitely a must have.

Nice happy people. Good coffee. Clean establishment. Crazy prices. $12 dollar cinnamon roll was just okay not stellar. My wife makes better cinnamon rolls. I was a little shock at the $36+ cost for our visit. The best thing we got there were the 5 for $3 chocolate chip cookies. We ordered coffee. It was also tasty. As for the other baked items, I’m not impressed. For the record I am not dazzled by Starbucks either. Chances are good that I don’t fit into their target market. This stop was disappointing.

Interesting experience this morning (Feb 14th). First time in shop, didnt know where to stand to order, but once we got our bearings, the food was really great. They advertised Scone filled with fruit, but only actually had Jalepeno & Cheddar, so I chose the monstrous Cinnamon roll instead, and boy was it awesome…I could only eat half

They have a couple of tables if you want to eat there, but looks like most ppl just pick up. Their pistachio eclair was decadent and their jalapeno cheddar scone was good.

The coffee and the fresh pastries are off the chart amazing at Sunrise Bakery. Waaay better than you’ll find at chain coffee shops. The vibe is really good with chill music and helpful staff. We visited on our way home and wish we had gone sooner!

Come here for coffee. I got caramel lattes with oat milk. It is a a fancy bakery. Other places in the island offer coffee , after 11 am. ‍ . Music is relaxing and you can see all the bakers doing the pastries.

I didn’t even think I liked a “Danish”..they are usually just dry. THIS one was so delightful!! I shared the after photo so u can see how buttery and flaky the pastry was. So buttery and delicate. And the fruit was GOOD…like not shriveled and old but FRESH! and idk the cream in the middle but it was perfect..not too sweet and not off putting but actual creamy complimentary to the fruit and buttery pastry. Also best coffee I have had so far on the island. Didn’t get a pic but it had a beautiful creamy froth on top as they pressure brewed it fresh. Very pleased

Wow! I love the fresh croissants! And the pastries are out of this world! And everything is baked fresh on premises! Super-clean interior with large viewing-windows that overlook the entire kitchen and baking area. Get here early in the day because they close at 2:30 pm. (Also closed on Monday.) Open 6:30 am for that morning baked-goods fix that goes great with your coffee! (Sundays open at 8:00 am.) Speaking of coffee, they also have a nice selection of coffees, teas, caffeine-free, and kid-friendly drinks. Some cozy, comfortable seating inside too — not a lot, but enough to take a break and enjoy the sweet aroma. Located at 2312 Padre Blvd right next to that watermill express bottle refill place. Parking in front and on the side(s) is easy enough. Definitely check out the Pistachio Croissant and Cheese Danish!

Wow what an amazing little bakery! We walked in to a very calming atmosphere and friendly faces behind the counter. The charming lady that helped us described absolutely everything we asked about and told us a little about the shop and ingredients. So pleasant! We got a giant cinnamon roll to share and it was amazing. The flavors were spectacular. The frosting on top had a great flavor and not just sugar. We also ordered coffees and they were hot and fresh! The caramel latte was very good!
