FIVE STARS to Sunrise Bagel Company! I’m sure the bagels are great; however, we opted for the egg, sausage, and provolone cheese croissant. Delicious! Excellent service, too. Our cottage was less than a mile away, so we walked to the restaurant. Easy access points from the beach. If you’re driving, when you exit the bridge onto the island, turn right onto Topsail Drive. Sunrise Bagel is located beside Daybreak Donuts, less than two blocks on the right on the sound side, before Raleigh Avenue. See photos…

You can’t go to Topsail without getting a bagel at Sunshine Bagel. There is always a line and there’s a reason why. The bagels are so fresh, Tom’s of flavors and come so many ways. My favorite breakfast bagel is the Shoreline. Love spicy and this one is delicious and fills you up! We also got some bagels for breakfast. Last time there, the kids passed on getting one… until they saw ours. Definitely worth the line and the wait.

Their everything bagel is SO good. The seed mix they use has so much flavor – I’ve never had one this good in my life and I’m a bagel fanatic. Super well seasoned. Their bagels taste like a much better version of Brueggers. The sausage on their breakfast bagels is also top quality. Highly recommend.

Delicious bagels! And friendly service. Love getting the Bunny breakfast bagel, but need to go back and try the Shoreline!

Their bagels are fresh and yummy. We went 5 days in a row for breakfast while on vacation and were happy each time. I prefer mine toasted extra in comparison to how they are prepared there, which they are willing to accommodate. The pickle cream cheese was good. My husband enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese. My son liked plain with peanutbutter. Prices are reasonable, service is quick. Store can feel crowded, just send one family member in to order.

We come to Topsail once a year, one of my first stops it’s this place to get bagels. They’re always fresh, and they have such a huge variety of types of bagels and sandwiches that everyone can find something they like. The people that work there are super friendly and I never have to wait very long. Love it!

This place is not worth the time or the money. I paid 30 dollars for 2 bagels. Asked for taylor ham and cheese…they gave me 2 slices of Taylor ham and 1 slice of cheese. Is this a joke? The Other bagel was one of their main menue items and still messed it up which it supposedto have GRILLED ONIONS and they were raw. If you want to over pay for a bagel go to this place. I am soooo disappointed. Picture speaks a thousand words

As my 1 yr old says, “yummmies!”
They have a new baker and he/she is sensational. As a former New Yorker, my standards for bagels is incredibly high. Since moving here, Sunrise was consistently good (a few exceptions, but everyone has an off day). It appears someone new is making these bagels, and it’s as close to perfection as you’re going to get. Fluffy, light with a crisp outside. So good you could devoir them plain because the texture is spot on.
Hands down the best bagels in the entire state. Brueggers, meet your champ

The cashier was nice. Short – sweet – to the point while offering options and such. Atmosphere is too small to rate much higher than a 3 star – I mean, you provide a place to walk in, order, and stand which meets expectations. Food was fresh. You can see them cooking and assembling on the flat top while waiting. Issue: flies on the bagels. Ordered, paid, and only then did we notice the flies. Bagels are displayed on hooks and in open baskets which isn’t very sanitary when you have flies coming in. This was mentioned 10 months ago in a different customer’s review; need to address the issue.

Busy but for good reason. We went early on a weekend morning and had a small wait, about 10 mins. The bagels are made fresh and every order made to order. The cold brew coffee was good too. Highly recommend!!
