If you’re looking for the best place for breakfast in Midland and Penetanguishene, Sunnyside Grill is a must-visit! We stopped by recently and ordered their club sandwich, poutine, and waffle — and everything was on point.

The real star for me was their home fries and poutine. The home fries were perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and packed with flavor. The poutine was equally delicious, with rich gravy and cheese curds that hit the spot.

The service was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food came out fresh and hot. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again!

4 of us went for breakfast/brunch. Food was decent, however eggs were over cooked a little for being ordered over easy, bacon is really crispy, sausages & peameal were good. Omelet was alright & home fries were tasty. Atmosphere is great, service was decent & friendly. Not too shabby for being open only a couple months.

Great space, love the big windows and the view at the kitchen, friendly service and good food, but nothing special. Thus, i found the prices a bit high for the quality you get compared to other breakfast places. But i do gotta hand it to them as that their potatoes are pretty good.

Great service by Angie, very generous size meals. My mom had the breakfast poutine and it was loaded with cheese curds, sausage, bacon and 2 poached eggs with lots of hollandaise sauce +++ mine was the buffalo chicken poutine – both were delicious they are looking to hire more wait staff if anyone is looking for a job.

Our second time eating at Sunnyside Grill and our second 5/5 rating. The food, the portions, the value for money, the atmosphere — all hit the mark. We took our little guy (18 months old) and were happy with the kids’ menu and kid friendly atmosphere too. A great new add to our breakfast restaurant options. We will be back!

Badda Bing! Midlands newest breakfast spot is on the map. Nice spot with a view backing onto the Pine Barrens. Service from Krystal was above and beyond! Never had an empty cup of Jo.
