very tasty. the rolls are very good and they also have a great selection of mixed drinks. the lady says that the guava sake cocktail was delicious. i say the bushido sake is fantastic. the mexican orgasm roll and sunny’s special are pictured here along with the crab rangoons. these are our favorites. highly recommend!

Everything was delicious! The fried rice filet mignon and chicken plate was full of flavor, the spicy miso ramen had the perfect kick, and the teriyaki chicken was cooked just right. The sushi was fresh, the kimchi added a great punch, and the fried ice cream was the perfect finish.

Really amazing date night with such an amazing atmosphere to just enjoy eating. I got myself the lion king roll and my gf got the crunch shrimp roll, it came with complimentary miso soup and cucumber salad. The taste of the rolls was so good and it filled us up hella fast, we also got fried gyoza and calamari which was best served with spicy mayo sauce. Such a good place will come again and again 🙂

Overall, the food was delicious! The portions are huge, particularly the protein on the steak and shrimp hibachi – I’ve never seen pieces of steak that big for this entree! The Lion King roll was fresh and tasty. The only thing I was less than impressed with was the appetizer: Crab meat puffs (really just crab rangoons). They were super bland.
The restaurant is a bit pricey compared to others for the same food, but the quality is excellent and I would eat here again.

the food was delicious!! we stuffed our faces. our server was very sweet and gentle. we got food on the house for no particular reason. i got the stir fried noodles with filet mignion and it was spectacular.

Stopped by for a Salmon lovers roll, which was delicious! Food was fast and service was incredible from the kind and knowledgeable Berenice. She answered all of my doubts regarding the sake offerings. Will definitely return for the good food and amazing service!

Sunny’s is an amazing experience- understated exterior and amazing decor inside. The food was so authentic and delicious- highly recommend Spicy Edamame and the sushi boat. First place I have ever ha a Sake Flight, which was delicious. Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly.. Earned 5 stars..

I was really looking forward to trying this place moved from Horizon City to El Paso , but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor overall, which was surprising, especially for sushi where fresh ingredients and balanced seasoning usually stand out. The miso soup in particular tasted very bland and didn’t have the depth of flavor you’d normally expect.
Another issue was the portion size. The sushi rolls were quite small compared to what you typically get elsewhere, which made the meal feel a bit underwhelming for the price.
I genuinely hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration because the potential is there, but improvements in flavor and portion sizes would make a big difference in the overall experience.

Love this place/ best sushi in town/ atmosphere is great/however it does get really busy/ also be ready to spend some money/ great place to take your family/ or even make a date night!
