The fish was good quality. The craftsmanship of the sushi was good. As you can see in the photo, if you’re a fan of wasabi or ginger then you may be disappointed, like me. I enjoyed it, but the stingy serving of wasabi and ginger took away from it. Aside from the rolls in the photo, where you may struggle to find the wasabi, we also ordered a jirachi bowl and it came with no wasabi whatsoever :(. This was a door dash order

The sushi was pretty expensive, but they’re pretty hefty. They tasted OK, but I probably wouldn’t spend that much on it again. Had a stomach ache after eating the sushi and it carried into the next day, same for my guest. The place was small and quaint and the customer service was by far the best part of the visit.

Sunny’s Sushi is that place you must go and visit if you don’t live in El Paso, is the place you miss when you leave El Paso. Sunny, Francis and all the staff are so amazing, the food is amazing because of the intention and love they put in every ingredient. Go to the one, the real, with the person who started this beautiful and delicious restaurant. There are only 2 real locations, don’t get confused. Redd and Mesa!

I ordered the seaweed salad and definitely wasn’t disappointed! I also was able to custom make my own sushi roll! The owner is so friendly! She chatted with me for a bit and immediately sat me down. I’ll definitely be going back!

I ordered from UberEATS and I received a third of the portion of protein I have when I eat in the restaurant. I basically paid $23 for fried rice and steamed vegetables with five pieces of shrimp and 10 pieces of chicken from the hibachi plate. In addition the food was luke warm and the shrimp was very overcooked. I always go to the cimmarron location and I never receive food like this. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from this restaurant’s location again.

This Sunny’s Sushi location is truly the ORIGINAL Restaurant. DO NOT be fooled by the others claiming themselves as being ORIGINAL. The Original recipes here are delicious. The quality of food is Consistent, Fresh, and DELICIOUS!! The service here is Top Notch. Sunny is here practically everyday and when she is, you can see her out and about visiting with her patrons to make sure everything tastes as they expected. You will not be disappointed when coming here for the first time, nor will it be your last!
