If you’re in San Marcos and craving something absolutely mouthwatering, you have to check out Sunny’s Pizza and Wings. I recently tried their pizza bread, and oh my goodness it was scrumptious, cheesy, crunchy, and bursting with flavor!
I asked them to load mine up with olives, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers, and they did not disappoint. The toppings were fresh, perfectly balanced, and so generous. To top it all off, I had them sprinkle some chili flakes and that extra kick made it even more irresistible. ️ . Everything I’ve tried here has been full of flavor, fresh, and made with care.
I highly recommend everyone to stop by Sunny’s Pizza and Wings (San Marcos) and treat yourself to their specialties. Trust me you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit

Sunny’s is probably the most underrated pizza in San Marcos! They serve a carry-out-only light, thin, and crispy pie covered in sweet, savory sauce and cheese that’s great with or without toppings. Very crushable and doesn’t leave you feeling slow and tired. It’s a Chicago Tavern-style pizza not to be confused with Chicago Deep Dish. Easy to recommend especially if you’re looking for something new with fresh ingredients.

They’re very nice, and a pleasure to do business with. You can order over the phone, or walk-in to place your take-out order. Each order is made fresh, and their prices are very reasonable. I enjoy supporting a local business, especially when it’s owner operated. They’re down to earth, genuine, good people.

I love this pizza place. Best in SM IMO. Karim has been making these bad boys for years mostly by himself and the consistency in good flavor is noticeable. (stuffed crust)

Really loved this pizza. Went there after a long hot day. Ordered a large pepperoni and the counter rep asks guy in back how long. He says 5 mins. For a pie. Awesome. The young man’s says go wait in you car, it’s got a/c I’ll bring it to you. And 5 mins later he brings it to me. Hot and delicious. Crust was thin and crispy. Sauce was deep red and full of flavor, lots of gooey cheese and tons of pepperoni. It was a great pie. Loved it. Will definitely go back and try other ones.
Update: last night had the Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza. Again, it was excellent. Gonna work my way through this whole menu. These guys make an awesome pie. Sorry no pics, gone too fast. 🙂

Ordered a pepperoni and cheese calzone and oh my goodness it was so delicious. The type of cheese that they use is really good. Expect Gooey cheese and the need for napkins

Two out of my three of my food options were cold. Chicken Tikka & Fries , barely had any taste. My bbq wings were cold .mozzarella sticks were half cooked .they also said they changed menu prices but the menu did not reflect that.

Asked for a normal one topping pizza with pepperoni and Extra cripsy. It was beyond me when I opened the box and saw what I saw. Way too much cheese, almost made me throw up, not crispy at all, and just very frustrating considering this a place I go to often. Haven’t had pizza this bad EVER (maybe in the cafeteria one in high school)

For first time is was alot more enjoyable than a regular pizza spot. Pizza was very good, wings and cheeseburger all were delicious. No complaints all around very enjoyable.
