Saw the ad for Christmas day and said yes this is the right choice. Easy to find in downtown Manchvegas. Ordered chicken and lamb over rice with Samsoas. The Samsoas came with a cold center but it was fine they tasted good. The sauce on the side was perfect. The lamb and chicken came pretty quick and the white sauce was well portioned. They offered red sauce on the side and I assume it’s because people have got caught assuming they can tolerate spices.
This is something Manchester needed and it’s filling a perfect spot for hot, good food at a reasonable price. Should 100% be on your list to go.

I’ve been wanting to try a hot chicken restaurant, and Sunny’s Hot Chicken on Lake St. in Manchester hit my craving perfectly! (Did I mention they do DoorDash and Uber eats)?!
Although parking is tight and there’s only a few spots up front, I did ask the gentleman working the counter, and he said some spots across the street and a few spots to the side of the building are also available for customer/driver parking, in addition to the multiple spots up front.
The ambiance is simple and what you would expect from the style of restaurant. What you don’t normally expect is a clean and easy menu, to which this one is! You pick your number and then you can customize, and individual vs combo meals are super EASY to figure out. Combos come with a can of soda, WIN! Although I didn’t order it, the Family Chicken meal seems to be a fantastic deal for those who need a lot of food!
There was one person in front of me and he said it would take about 10 minutes (it was probably a few minutes more, but I needed a little more time on my phone anyways as I decided to eat there )!
The meal – I’m already liking everything about it, except for the ketchup packets (but I get why, it’s hard enough to run a business in 2025). It’s obviously prepared to keep it as hot as possible, as long as possible. The fries were cooked PERFECTLY, and there were a lot more fries than I expected! My Buffalo Chicken sandwich sub with blue cheese was fantastic, a buffalo lovers dream. I’ll add extra chicken next time, and I’ll try a milkshake next time too !
They’ve only been open a couple of months, but they’ve obviously gained a significant amount of traction from the community, which is great to see.
I took a few menus and will be telling people good things about Sunny’s Hot Chicken!
Total cost: $13.01 w/tax.

I’ve gotten the butter chicken with rice which was very flavorful and a decent portion size. It was in the process of being made when I initially called and the person I spoke to told me it would be a few hours and then called me back when it was ready. I also got the naan which was so good. The 2x I’ve been there the customer service was great and food fresh. I also got the chicken and rice bowl. The chicken didn’t have too much flavor and neither did the white sauce , but overall , it was still decent. The jamaican patty is your basic frozen patty. I got it with cocoa bread and cheese. They open up the jamaican patty and put the cheese inside of it , which is how it should be done. They also grill the cocoa bread. Overall , this place is a really good , reasonably priced spot to eat. I’ll continue to go back and try different things.

Not sure what i expected here. Food is mediocre,fries are stale and bland and the chicken was mid at best. The only thing i can say positive about this food is that it was cheap and the chicken sandwich ingredients went together decently and the chicken wasn’t soggy. But if you’re looking for a good flavorful place to eat at for hot chicken or any chicken. This isn’t the place for you.. you’d think with the reviews on google it would be much better than expected..also the Jamaican pattys or empanadas aren’t good either…

I asked for gyro bowl and the guy just gave me a wrap for some reason. He most likely wasn’t paying attention as he would just walk away when i tried to order my food.

They served biryani over the weekend which is pretty much the best out there.
Also it’s served exceptionally hot. Serving can take a bit of time though.
The owner himself is a really friendly guy and a pillar of the community always ready to lend a helping hand.

I bought a 21 piece fried chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw also ordered Mac and cheese the Chicken was excellent mashed potatoes were good but a bit soupy and Coleslaw was great. Unfortunately they forgot to pack the Mac and cheese. I was going to call and let them know but I was pleasantly full with what I had.. Also I never received my receipt for the order. Otherwise it was definitely a good meal.
