Amazing experience! Born and raised in Chicago however I’m now living in TN. Came home to visit and knew before I left bbq was a must, I had never tried Sunny’s before. Let me tell you I have been missing out. Lg Rib tips, 6 piece wings fried hard w/ mild sauce so many fries and some butter cookies! Took me back to my childhood, baby it was a hit! Pricing was good and portions were more than enough. Food kept good on 6hr dr home. Will definitely be back..

I have never patronized a bbq spot where bbq is cooked to order… with no other patrons in the establishment I waited 20 minutes for a small combo tip and links. When I received my food nothing was hot… NOTHING! I guess a mix up occurred on their end… I told the worker at the register I want everything chopped fine, get my food and its not chopped, tell me they dont chop hot links … the hot link it self was not hot and had the taste of a turkey link… been eating pork long enough to know the difference… one of my worst experiences with a bbq joint… dont recommend!

Order here a couple times through DoorDash. Small ribs tip/link combo and another time Small tip/wing combo. The portion was nice for the price $18. I asked for small cut tips with mix hot/mild sauce. I enjoyed the sauce flavorful. Fries were fresh. Tips were delicious. Hot link were to die for. I do recommend and will purchase here again.

Ordered the 25 wings combo along with a side of fries. While I was expecting traditional chicken wings, the alternative of fried chicken covered in wing sauce was a nice change of pace. The meal was very good and the chicken was seasoned nicely. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the downtown Chicago area.

I’ve never had service here that wasn’t efficient, if not down right lovely. Especially out of the locations in the area, this place is always punctual with the time they give you. I can’t wait for them to get better seats for the wait some people have to endure in the venue. I live on the block almost so that’s a small gripe for me lol.

I place an order over the phone,2/1/2026 at 7:30pm, 2Lrg Tips.and the lady who took my order said 15mins.I arrived the restaurant at 7:40pm, Only to discover the doors are locked. I’m standing in the blistering Cold like a fool knocking and yelling through door that I called in a order.She could’ve easy told me that they were about to closed when I placed my order. I come to this establishment at least 4 maybe 5 times a month. This is no way to treat a Dedicated Customer. So I waited, and a young lady comes out only 2tell me their closed.
