Lived in Rancho for 10+ years and finally ended up at a Sunny Lee’s for lunch! It was delicious and portion size was amazing! I’ll definitely be going back!

Back in the early 2000’s this was one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve come across. They fell off and quality of food diminished after 2012. They continue to take shortcuts, nothing like ma and pa used to do. Mostly millennials now…

Good Chinese food and service. Portion size is ample and you can get a good meal for reasonable $11 -$12. Price maybe a little higher due to the increase in price of most meat, poultry, and food. Mask is no longer require here but the staff and servers are required to wear mask. Nice friendly atmosphere here all the time. Otherwise everything is about the same here.

This place was horrible. They should go to jail for serving this type of food. I spent sixty plus dollars and got a bunch of science projects.. No flavor or should I say no seasoning at all? I had to put my own seasoning on the food from stop me from throwing up. I can’t believe they serve as type of food … they should be ashamed of themselves I can go on for days. On how I was disgusted with this food but at the end of the day jokes on me for trying out something new…

I ordered beef Curry and I let the waitress know I like it spicy but what I ended up with was a watery trough of soggy food. I tried to pick out the nice vegetables and meat from the trough but it had lost its crisp and spicy flavor by then. It was a chore to find her in a mostly empty restaurant to get chili pepper oil which she eventually brought. The bill she presented had my items then the tax then a charge for the glass of wine including tax then the total which was confusing. Perhaps all antiquated, handwritten guest checks are like that nowadays. She argued with me which made me decide to never come back there again and she explained that she was happy that I wouldn’t! Very rude, unprofessional, & certainly low class hospitality.

I got the General Chicken, and mom had Vegetarian Chow Mein (Both to go.) Also Had an order of fries wantons. All the meals were excellent, and my order could easily feed 2. I valiantly tried to finish my meal, but to no avail. I just have a bit of rice and sauce left — and I know I’m going to sleep soundly tonight, dreaming about finishing it tomorrow for lunch.

Since two people recommended this place, I thought I’d give it a try despite the Google reviews. Well, it wasn’t entirely horrible. I ordered the Singapore rice noodles with chicken instead of pork. The chicken was kind of odd, so I didn’t exactly eat it. The taste wasn’t bad, bad, and I’ve had super bad Singapore rice noodles. The order was prepared in the amount of time they said it would take. I think I’ll give another dish a try before I decide never to go there again.

Ordered the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, chicken chow mein and cream cheese crab wontons. The food was great! Even my picky eaters ate! It was just the right amount of food for my small family. I would recommend adding 1-2 more dishes for larger parties. Staff was great and the service was very fast! Will be returning!

I came here to have the lunch special. the food tasted old and nasty. I asked for no pork and they gave no pork in chow mein but but pork in the fired rice. Their customer service was good. the lady was very nice and respectful, they just need to use better tasting food, ingredients, or use fresh food. I didn’t even eat it because it tasted old

My family has been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. When it was originally on Folsom Blvd. LOVE LOVE LOVE Sunny Lee’s. We’ve seen different owners and staff come and go but the food remains the same.
Their wonton soup before every meal is simple but delicious. I always get the same thing. Chow mien, with orange chicken, and fried rice. My sister who also loves this place also continues to get the same thing as well. Broccoli beef with fried rice.
Love it and will continue to go here.
