Okay this is a little gem that my wife and I found. we’ve been there a couple of times. The food is outstanding, Corey the chef in the kitchen really out does himself. Family run business.Husband and wife and there daughter. When they’re busy you’re going have to be patient it’s a little slow just expect that. Believe me it’s worth the wait. Do yourself a favor go on a night where it’s not going to be so busy maybe during the week on the earlier side. I guarantee you you’ll be going back. Extremely nice people everything from the appetizers to the dinner was fantastic and reasonably priced. Small restaurant very casual. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been living in the Sprindale area for over 10 years now, and for some reason, I’ve never been to Sunny and Frankie’s. Huge mistake on my part. I went here on a Friday night about 6 ish. There was a nice gathering of people in the bar that seemed like “regulars.”

There was one server/bartender named Kim who handled the whole place, and she did it expertly. I had one of their special “dirty” martinis and perused the menu. Kim let me know about a number of specials they were featuring, but I was in the mood for chicken parm. But I did opt for their special cucumber salad. (If you think it looks over dressed in my photos, that is my doing. I requested extra dressing.)

I have to say that both the salad and chicken were fantastic, and their parmesan bread is to die for!! All in all, it was a dynamite meal, perfectly paced, and with outstanding service. I plan on going back over and over again!

Thank you Sunny and Frankie’s.

I first moved to Stamford back in 2017 for high school (almost in Pound Ridge, very north) and recently moved back in 2025. This time, we settled in Springdale and stumbled across Sunny and Frankie’s after seeing all the great reviews. It was one of the very first local spots we tried and it’s quickly become a favorite.

It’s rare to find classic food done perfectly, but they nail it every time. Their Monday takeout menu is truly a hidden gem and has somehow turned Mondays into my favorite day of the week. The food is consistently excellent, comforting, and made with care.

On top of that, the owners are incredibly kind people (and talented for being able to balance such a busy restaurant with professionalism). you can feel that this is a true family-run business that takes pride in what they do. Places like this are what make Stamford special.

My wife and I have been to many of the finest restaurants in our area and beyond. I have to say this was fantastic. White clam sauce in fettuccine was the best I’ve had. They recently moved to this new location. I highly recommend Sonny and Frankie’s!

Another one of those “why haven’t we been here before????” kind of places. Comfortable, inviting, relaxed atmosphere with great food and great service. We will definitely be back.

Sunny & Frankie’s in Stamford is an absolute gem, particularly thanks to the talents of Chef Corey Falcone. There aren’t many places that ignite my love for food like this. Such a hometown feel and none of this would run without Kim who takes care of the whole restaurant. This is a one of kind place that is a must try. You won’t be disappointed

Our experience at this local restaurant is always positive. The food is tasty. The chef & his wife are the owners. They are friendly, attentive and make you feel right at home. Good food at a fair price. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is not very well prepared. The mozzarella sticks were cold inside, the daily special pasta was undercooked (too hard), and the sauce was too salty.

It was also waaaaay too slow. We sat down and starved for like 30 mins before getting a few slices of bread, another 10 mins for the real app to come, and another half hour for the entrees. Extremely understaffed both in the kitchen and in the dining area. By the time we got our entree I really just wanted to go home.
