I love the service here, everyone is super friendly. Food hasn’t disappointed. BBQ chicken pizza cravings still hit me regularly. Has a strong family vibe I appreciate.
Ambiance isn’t my favorite, the lighting is a bit too much. We usually get it to go.

If you never went to their old location: this place has really great food! Their “half size” is what I consider a “normal size”. The pizza is more toppings than crust (think Chicago style on a traditional crust). Lots of fun flavors for their shakes. Fun burger choices. Haven’t tried the lasagna yet. That said: everything we’ve tried is as great as their previous location (5*). Parking can be tricky. When you come in, they ask if you are staying or takeaway. Huge takeaway business. They’ll ask you to take a seat and bring you menus.
If you went to the old location: this isn’t at all like the old location. Completely NEW vibe (4*). Glad they got the second space; they are attempting to replicate the patio vibe (lots of windows). Service is about the same (a solid 4*). The owner guy (I think that’s who he is) still sits hangs out and chats (4*).

I wanted to like it since I had been going to Suni’s regularly since the mid 1980s. Was concerned about the negative reviews and unfortunately have to agree with many of them.
The place itself is very nice. Bigger and well lit. Nicely decorated
We ordered pizza, salads and hamburgers. Salads were large and very good. The hamburgers and fries were good but nothing like they were before and Im sure it was because their old grill was a classic and hard to replicate that char broiled flavor
The pizzas, however, we’re not even close to what I was used to. Very disappointing. Not what I would expect from a pizza place
Doughy thick crust that certainly was not made by hand. Had to be bought pre made. Undercooked with bland sauce flavor but lots of cheese.Did not look like and of the pictures I saw
Kids ate it, though, but certainly not what I expected. I’ve had frozen pizzas that were much better.
I’ll give them another chance out of loyalty and try other items on the menu But please do something about those pizzas. They used to be so good.
I guess I just expected better or maybe had a bad cook

I always get the pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and cheese, which is freaking amazing. I also get a salad with blue cheese. Also very fresh and delicious. When you walk in, did you immediately notice how spotless and clean the place is and the staff’s friendly attitude welcoming me in.

The chicken in my chicken gyro was inedible, worst quality of food I’ve ever encountered from a restaurant. Fries were cold and undercooked as well. Would not recommend.

Suni’s was my neighborhood favorite until the fire. I had heard that the new location didn’t offer their wonderful flavorful juicy hamburger. When I saw it was offered now on Tuesday through Friday, I gave it a try. To be honest, I don’t think the dry hamburger patty was grilled. It tasted nothing like the ones they used to serve. I ate 1/4 of the burger and threw the rest away. And the french fries were not fried at all. I saw someone elses comments that they seemed dry and not very hot. I think that they were frozen fries that were cooked in an oven. Maybe the hamburger should not have been reintroduced if the same quality couldn’t be given.
