Reviews
At the time, the restaurant was not busy. Out of approximately 22 tables, only around 5 – 6 were occupied, making the long wait unexpected.
One of the customers who was served ahead of us was dining with a foreigner. While this may not have been intentional, the situation raised a concern about possible preferential treatment, which was uncomfortable as a guest.
Because of the delay and the time of day, we brought out some bread while waiting, but were informed that outside food was not allowed. Given the circumstances, this added to the frustration.
Service throughout the visit was slow and poorly managed.
Regarding the food quality:
• The pork belly was burnt
• The calamares was soggy
• The crab and shrimp did not seem fresh
• No service water (DTI, we need your attention on this)
The restaurant’s concept features de-elevated tables surrounded by water with koi fish, which initially adds to the ambiance. However, the fish occasionally jump and splash water onto the tables, creating a potential food contamination concern.
Plastic hand gloves were offered, but only very late into the meal, and guests were not informed of this option earlier.
Overall: Service was disappointing, and the food did not compensate for the experience.
Warning to future customers: Even during non-peak hours, service may be slow, inconsistent and terrible, and guest treatment may feel uneven.
However, food portions are too small esp. the sinuglaw for sharing so we had to order another meal enough for 2pax and a it’s bit pricey for small portions. It was delicious tho, presentation was nice, and staff were nice enough to recommend sisig as an additional food since it’s being prepared faster.
**Location** – I’m not very familiar with the exact location since we had a taxi driver contact who took us there. However, if you’re planning to book a Grab ride, it might be difficult because the restaurant seems quite far from the city.
**Food** – The food was okay, nothing particularly outstanding but still decent.
**Restaurant** – I really loved the concept of dining surrounded by fish—it’s a unique and relaxing idea. However, it seems like the place isn’t being maintained very well. I hope they improve the cleanliness of the aquarium, as it would make the dining experience much better.
They need to do something with their food. Really.
Overall would dine again.
One thing to say though, and I know you are still new, but bathroom utilities and waiting area needs improvement. It’s also quite concerning that the waiting area and the path leading to the bathroom is an open space, while the space is serene and cool, sudden weather changes may give it a bad and uninviting vibe. May I also add, if you have plans adding in some more lights in the parking area? Since the space is not smooth, I’d recommended adding more lights for safety.
Other than that, your restaurant is highly recommendable.
