First visit today was a good one. Let me start by saying the ONLY reason I didn’t give service a 5 was the long wait. The rest of this os positive. It’s not often a breakfast place gets “over medium” eggs right but they nailed it. Senior menu for 55+ is appreciated!! The staff was professional. We were told at the door the wait for food would be about 45 minutes. It was closer to an hour. The food was really good and prices were right. Our coffee was topped off frequently while we waited, and during that time at least 3 employees checked on us. I love it when I see employees cleaning rather than standing around! They are doing things right! Give them a chance but bring your patience with you.

Two of my friends and I came in for the first time on New Year’s Day. The restaurant was so busy, customers were being kinda demanding (maybe they were up too late the night before??)…..but the service was impeccable, those breakfast skillets were perfect and the atmosphere was darling. It’s going on our rotation when we’re in Hastings!

When they first opened, this place was amazing, everything home made, high quality, and fresh. Unfortunately the quality of the food has has gone steadily downhill since then, not all at once, but little obvious cuts here and there. Until the last couple times, now everything tastes like warmed up Sisco Food, like you can find anywhere else. Not bad, but certainly not very good. Very disappointed. I don’t think we will be back.

Door dashed some food from here and it was great until I pulled out a staple out of my mouth that was in the pancake batter that my 18 month old and I were sharing. I am greatful that I got it in my mouth and not in his or that I swallowed it. They were closed by the time we started eating so I will up date this after I discuss with them tomorrow on how its handle.

Our food was cold after 25 minute wait for the food. Also the hashbrowns were not cooked. The pancake was hard as a rock and the server never checked on us. We had to constantly ask for things they discounted our bill by nine dollars for a horrible service and horrible food would not recommend ever coming back here.

Food was AMAZING, and Terra provided excellent service. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because they were closing at 2- we got our food probably around 1:20/1:30 and not too long after we got our meal another staff member came over and asked if we had plates to give her.. as we all have food on our plates eating. She then proceeded to tell us that they are closing early and are trying to hurry as they want to go home. That to me was very unprofessional, and did not totally ruin our experience, but did alter it significantly. Other than that, the food, environment, and experience with Terra was phenomenal!

We were really excited when the Sunflower Kitchen opened, especially since we live right next door. Unfortunately, after giving this restaurant multiple chances, we’ve been consistently disappointed. It has the potential to be great, but the food just doesn’t measure up.

We’ve tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and nothing has really impressed us. The eggs are usually fine, but overall, everything tends to be overly greasy. I once ordered the oatmeal, and it was served cold. They only offer margarine instead of real butter, which is a small detail but makes a difference. We also tried the steak, which was tough and dry, and the salad bar, which felt uninspired and not particularly clean. The chicken fried steak was grizzly. And they seem to always run out of items on the menu and you’re left scrambling trying to figure something else out.

The location is fantastic, and the dining room is spacious with a nice atmosphere, but the food is what holds this place back. I really wish someone could come in and turn things around because this restaurant has so much potential.
