The vegetable plate was a refreshing taste of the south, not to mention, healthy. I haven’t had corn bread that delicious in a long time! Our service was great, everyone was friendly, and we had a great time visiting the entire lunchtime with friends and family. If you live close enough to go frequently, consider yourself blessed.

We were there on a Friday. It was very busy. A happening little place. I had really high hopes for the steak sandwich on Texas toast. It was just the same old chicken fried steak patty that most restaurants serve. The seasoned fries were really good. My wife had the burger she said it was great. If this kind of fare hits the spot with you give them a try.

This place is definitely the go to spot around lunch. Be sure to get there early, even several minutes before 11:00 the line was. 10+. I had the chicken and dumplings, it wasn’t quite how grandma made them but it was pretty darn close. We tried going again but all the seats were filled. Definitely a good restaurant and worth the stop if you ever find yourself in Grenada.

I have been getting their Wednesday lunch plate for the last couple of months and it is consistently a 10/10. The ladies are so nice and if there’s an issue (rarely) they are more than happy to fix it. My favorites are their pork chop, pasta salad and butter beans. Give them a try 🙂 Also prices are amazing for the portions they give!
