Absolutely, by far the best Pulled Pork EVER!!!!
The Brisket sandwich just melts in your mouth.
Highly recommend here for everyone.
Jayme & Amy are awesome!!!! Jayme really explained each dish we inquired about and made each item so enticing, it was hard to decide on what to order.
Definitely will come back and try other dishes.

Absolutely loved this place. The food is delicious!! It is hands down the most delicious BBQ, in Florida. They have the best Corn Bread Muffin I have ever had. And their Sweet tea!! Oh Lawd! You have to go and try them. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Go early, so you don’t miss out on the burnt ends. Definitely will return.

Excellent authentic BBQ. Burnt ends were fantastic. Really enjoyed the sauces on the table. Don’t wait to order, when they’re out, they’re out. Orange muffins are really good as well, if not for dessert, then breakfast the next day.

Good quality, well cooked BBQ. Pickles are fantastic! Green beans good and mac-n-cheese unique. Tea is freshly brewed. Good sauces. Order at counter, then sit down at an available table. Can get busy and fill up quick. Takeout probably a great option. Fast. Clean. Simple, nice decor.

To quote the name of one of their six homemade bbq sauces, Sweet Baby Jess! Please don’t make me pick my favorite. The burnt ends, mac and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and cornbread were all phenomenal. Amazing family-owned spot. Go now and bring your appetite, and maybe a wheelchair.

Really great bbq! The beef brisket is cooked for 20 hours so it is really tender. Ask them about the burnt ends, they are delicious! There are 4 different sauces to choose from, also available for sale. I love the sweet Cherry Blossom. My favourite side is the pit beans, which cook beneath the meat, so they catch all the yummy drippings. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and parking. Located just two blocks from Flagler Ave with entrances on N Orange St and N Dixie Hwy (Rt 1). But go early, before they sell out…

I LOVE this place! Everything is made fresh daily and when they run out, they RUN out. So you know you’re getting some good stuff! I have lunch/dinner here as often as my diet will allow my boyfriend and I were both raised in Texas as well as Missouri for him so I think we have some say about BBQ The brisket platter with TWO sides of their green beans is my go to! Lol I slurp em right up without any regrets. They have amazing friendly and attentive staff as well as awesome owners! Right there preparing everything for ya. They have so many awards on the walls and shelves you don’t have time to read em all. They have a great little outside patio area that’s dog friendly and a super affordable beer selection. All in all I give this place 5 stars, 10/10 ❤️

This place has really good barbecue – really, really good! I’ve had the beef brisket, tri-tip, burnt ends, ribs, and pulled pork, along with sides of Mac and cheese, spiced pickles, which are phenomenal, barbecue beans, and green beans. Sometimes the place runs out of food when you are within an hour of closing, but that’s pretty typical of BBQ places I think.

Brisket can stand alone but there are plenty of sauces to choose from, Mus-tang Sally is my favorite. Green beans are good county style with a nice crispness to them. Gotta love the cornbread muffin

I love barbecue. It’s my favorite type of food. I’ve learned over the years that excellent barbecue starts with the pitmaster. I don’t know who fills that role at Sundown Smokehouse but he/she knows what they are doing. I had a pulled pork platter with corn bread, green beans, and potato salad. I’ve never had better pulled pork. It was moist and tender. Probably smoked for 18 to 20 hours. Served unsauced, as it should be. Four sauces on the table to choose from. I tried all four. Each is a winner. Settled on “Mustang Sally”, the mustard based sauce. My favorite type of barbecue sauce. I think there was a fifth sauce. A hot one. But like all restaurants I’ve been to, the spicy barbecue sauce is kept behind the counter. The sides were also delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small compared to some of the competition but I much prefer that. One thing that really struck me was how clean it was. Exceptionally so. I read somewhere that they may run out of some foods. True to that statement, burnt ends were sold out when I arrived. No worries. That just means I have to go back to try them. I’ll be going several times because I can’t wait to try all the meats. When have you ever heard of any major barbecue chain restaurant running out of product? I never have. Know why? Because their product isn’t in high enough demand to run out. If a restaurant runs out of product due to high demand, you know this is the place to go. This is the true sign of a great barbecue restaurant. I’ve found a real gem. I’ll be a regular customer. You should try it. You will love it too.
